I WANT TO ADOPT FROM DAWNFLAME! *Number: 6
*Name: Flow Stone
*Gender: female
~Age: she's a young adult
~*Bio/story: It was dark, as always, what do you expect from living in a cave? The little light there was came from a tiny hole, the only entrance to the cave. Flow Stone's mother carefully licked her newborn clean, coddling her against her belly. The mother smiled and looked around at the formations in the cave.
"Flow Stone," she said, "I'll call you Flow Stone."
A few months later...
"Mom! When can I leave the cave?" Flow Stone whined.
"When you're old enough, Flow!" her mother said for the millions time.
"But how old is 'old enough'?" Flow swished her tail impatiently.
Her mother sighed.
"You have to learn how to be patient, Flow," he mother said, "I'll tell you what, if you can be good for the rest of the week, I'll take you out of the cave."
"Really!?" Flow's eyes shone with excitment.
"Yes really, now go to sleep, it's getting late," her mother said.
All week Flow was a perfect little angel. She didn't go running off into cave passages that she didn't know. She didn't try to sneak out of the cave, she didn't do any of the regular things that usually got her into trouble. The end of the week didn't come soon enough. That morning, Flow's mother led her out of the small hole and into the bright sunshine.
Flow looked around in amazment,
"Wow..."
Flow's mother sat on a rock while Flow explored. She smelled the flowers and looked at the sky. She pawed at the stream and asked endless questions. Flow's mother told her the answer to each one. At the end of the day, Flow's mother told Flow to stay right by the entrance while she went to find some food. Flow's mother had only been gone a few mintues before Flow was distracted by something in the grass. She crept closer, wondering what could be hiding.
"Hello?" she called tentivley.
The grass rustled as the creature looked towards her. There was a growlig noise. Flow had found a coyote.
"H-hi...m-my name if Flow.." she said.
The coyote lunged. Flow screamed and scampered away, trying to get to the cave, but the coyote chased her away from it and into the trees. Flow ran faster than she had ever run before.
"MOTHER! MOTHER!" she screamed. Flow ran until she found a bent tree and scrambled up it. The coyote snapped at her and clawed the bark until he gave up and went to look for dinner some where else.
Flow was finally safe, but her mother was gone and she was terribly lost.
She wandered around for days looking for the cave, but with no luck. Finally she just curled up in a log and waited for death to come. But it never did. There was still a part of her that didn't want to die. She so got up and went out to look for food. She found some berries and was able to sustaine herself for a long while. This was when she knew she would survive. She made the log her permanent home and lived there for many years. She met many other creatures, some friendly, other not, some were just like her. Then one day she met an older Ajiro who looked very familiar. She was kind of grayish like her, but still looked different.
"Do I know you?" she asked.
"Flow?" the other asked.
"Mom?"
Flow finally found her mother, years after she lost her.
But this happiness wasn't to last. Not long after their reunion, Flow's mother was killed by a snake. Flow mourned her for many months, often crying herself to sleep, but after the months of gloom and dispair, Flow learned never to take those you love for granted.
Now Flow is a stronger person who never hesitated to let those she cares about know just how much she appreciated them. She is a brave girl who can be rash and implusive, but tries to get past that by forcing herself to think things through. She's very clever, but is a bit of a smart alec and loves to be right. When she's feeling sad, she often retreats into the darkness, comforted by the enviroment she grew up in. When she's ina good mood, she can be very chatty and friendly. She enjoys a good conversation with a friend.
