The six eyes make them look really alien, which is cool and all, but I have a thing for more realistic fake animals (since they all inhabit the earth and all), so I'll probably prefer the two-eyed ones when you start making them. ^^ Otherwise I really love the design and the poster child's color scheme. When they move, do they hop like rabbits or do they awkwardly waddle like backwards hyenas?

They hop like hares. I made a really neat set of sketches showing how they use their long, bendable spine as a spring to enhance the movement. When they move smowly, I don't know. I can't really see them walking, so it'll probably be some kind of lazy hpping too. Honestly the kali are a bit to wonky for my tastes as well, with their out of proportion legs and multiple eyes, but they came out so cute while I was sketching^^.

I'll upload the series of sketches when I put up a thread for them, it gives a pretty alright view of the motion. I have lots of sketches ot them, hopping and yawning and scruffing up those ears^^.

You should show a Smili and the Kali interacting in different ways.

In a way I hope the Kuli get popular...I prefer the smili so the more people want the Kuli the less people want the Smili. hur hur~ *evil scheming* But To me the Kuli seem like a much smaller species than the Smili...like the size of a great dane instead of a lion. But that's just me.

They look like they'd be smaller to me too. Maybe it's the whiskers?

Sounds like a plan Applefiend.
This round should be a good one to try to snatch a smili, lots of peole seem to go for Voided and all of those other super cute donations. There where so many donations for this round that I'm surprised if there'll be forms submitted for all the smili.

And that's about the size I thought of too, rather high over the ground but not so heavy. So I imagene them to be about as high as a smili, but like 1/4 of the weight. So about a meter in altitude and 50 kg heavy.
