Blue merle chihuahuas do exist, true, but you're more likely to see them with bi/tri color genetics.

EDIT* I did a little more research into merle chihuahuas. The are only bred because people like them. It goes through series of cross-breeding to come out with this result. Often if the chihuahua has 50% or more white in the merle it can easily become deaf and blind.

Is it just me or do the bi/tri colors merles remind you of Australian Cattle dogs O.o

Yeah, techniacally, "true" blue merle chihuahuas, meaning they have the blue merle coloring and blue eyes are actually illegal due to the birth defects and issues they can have leter on, although chihuahuas that don't have the
"true" merle coloring are considered okay. Yeah, they're markings do kind of remind me of an austrailian cattle dog's. :3

I actually made Sydney first - each batch is usually uploaded in the reverse of the order the dogs were made in. Red tri is my favourite coat colour in Aussies, so I couldn't resist doing that one as soon as the lineart was done. ^^

I love red tri and red merle aussies! My blue merle aussie's parents were a blue merle and black tri, but oddly enough, they had a red merle daughter.

Awww I love black tri aussies! I think they are so cute. And I absolutely love aussies' tail stubs. My aussie wags his little bobbed tail so fast you can't see it! I seriously could go on and on about aussies but I think I'll stop now.
