History

The Ancient Shiran is an ancient Creature, that lives most of it time in a Forest or in fields. Normaly, this Creature is really shy, but a few Humans tamed them once. They thought, because of the stong legs, they would be better than Horses and could carry more weight. The only Problem, the Back of the Shiran is not strong enough to carry weight or even a human. It could hurt the Animal and because of that, the Humans let the Creature back into the wild, where it is watching over the Humans and the other Animals.
In a war between the Humans, lots of Shiran lost theyre home because of fire or not enough food. They were running to friendly Humans or other Shiran they know. DUring that time, the species seemed to disappear completely. Over 50 years passed, till a group of young people were walking through a Forest and met one of the Shiran. Of course, because of the whole time the Shiran were away, nobody actually remembered them, and even the Shiran itself forgot about the old times.
And now, the Shiran are back, walking throgh forests and fields, slowly becoming more and more.
And one day, the whole World will get to know this Creatures ones more.

Environment

Most of the Shiran are living in the Forests or Fields in the near of a little river for water. But after the war, they were forced to move away. They are living in the Mountains or in the hot Savannah. It was very difficult to survive in such a landscape, when they knew nothing about it. Many Shiran died due of the Hot Season in the Desert or were freezing to death on the high Mountains.
After a while, the Shiran fit in those different environment, causing that the Fur bright or dark under the sun. The ASH's from the Mountains have normaly thick Fur and are very strong, not like the once from the Forest or Savannah. But what the Mountain Shiran have in the strengh, is by the Forest and Savannah Shiran more in the speed.

Breeding Season

In the Breeding Season, which is in the late spring and early summer, the Shiran are looking for their Partners. The Males ones are brag about their Horns and the long tail. The one with the strongest, biggest Horn and longest Tail usually gets the most Females and the most Shir. Shir are the little foals they later have.
While the Males are bragging, the Females are gathering in groups together, making it almost impossible that a Male gets one for him alone or at least to talk to that Female. The Females are rather Shy and it needs a lot of time, till it decides, which Male it will take.
When more than one female is applying for a Male, then the one with the most beautiful Horn will be the lucky winner.

First days of a Shir

When the Shir are born, the Mother stays always at it site. She wont leave her foal, till the Shir is old enough or the Father is taking care of it. The Shir are always born without the Horns. They will grow when the Shir reaches one year. Almost at the same time the horns are growing, the Males are taking care of the little foals together. They are showing them the domain and are showing them how to defend theirselfs if it is actually needed. The Shir will stay with the Fathers till they are reaching the 4th Year.

▪Species Name: Shiran
▪Species: Horse, Elk and some sort of long haired Cat.
▪Life Span: 18-25 Years
▪Height: 1.85m at the shoulder and 2.5m in length.
▪Habitat: Forest, Savannah and Mountains. Usually near a River.
▪Diet: Herbivore

Feautres and some Infos

▫ The Main Body is that of a Horse, while the Horns are from an Elk and the Tail from some sort of a Cat.
▫ Extremely long and furry Tail, which also keeps the Balance for them.
▫ Long ears.
▫ The Markings are usually that of some stripes or dots. Some have only some darker or brighter colors without any Markings.
▫ The most common Color for them is Dark and light Brown or grey. The hoofes are normaly a shade darker and the fur on the Hoof is brighter than the Fur color itself.
▫ The Color of the Horns is normaly brighter on the dark Shiran, but brighter on the light ones.
▫ The Shiran are normaly living for only 18 to 25 years, some even longer.
▫ Because they are herbivore, they eat only Plants. They never eat Meat, because it would only course a tummy ache.
