Sweet,kind,loving,different,friendly. These two are the same all the way the perfect pair. Two peas in a pot. They are best friends. They are loving and live to play and run. If they are doing something they do it together. They are not brother and sister,but they aren't boyfriend and girlfriend. Don't mess with one of them though the other one would hurt you if you left a scratch on the other one but lets get more in the their personality.
Kaitlyn~Hello there I'm Kaitlyn. I am loving caring and active. If I had a best friend it would be Joey. He is kind sensitive and just sweet. Don't tell him but I kinda like like him. I'm a active rebel girl. My parents well didn't like me that much. So I have a dark side. So don't mess with me or Joey you hear! I'll be after you like a bull! I love children more then adults. When I see an adult I put my ears back and down and get low. A slight grown may be heard. Be nice and kind to me like Joey is and I can be your best friend.
Joey~Hi I'm Joey. I'm just one of the outcasts yep I may look all cool and great but I'm not popular at all. I'm at the bottom of the food chain. I was raised by a mutt named Jewls. She left me and I was sad. Then I found Kaitlyn. She made me happy. I started to do sports like frisbee and be my old self. I am loving to all humans because they give you food. Kaitlyn makes me a happy dog and I like her more then just a friend.
History/Background:
I guess you can say I was hated because I was. My mom was a devil living in the world. My dad wasn't better. One day she had four pups including me. I had two brothers and a sister. I was the stupid worthless runt nobody cared about. That's why my mom tossed me out at the age of one month. The streets was not the place for a puppy well a alone puppy so I set out. Little did I know what was about to happen…
I had a perfect life but I was different. My mom had five pups I was one. Two brothers and two sisters. She was a wonderful dog she would help anybody. I was the runt,I was always pushed around and picked on. Mostly by my bigger brothers. My sisters had nothing to do with me. One day mom was not watching I slipped out of the fence and ran. Cars honk but I kept running till I came to a quite place with noting around. I didn't have a clue now I was stuck...
Kaitlyn walked the streets feet hurting hungry. She heard something and started to run. Joey heard movement he ran. Soon the two hit head on."Ahhh!"Kaitlyn yelled. Joey put his paw on her mouth,"Hey shhh it's ok trust me,"he barked."Sure well ok I'm Kaitlyn and you are?"she asked."Joey,"he answered helping her up. She looked in his eye"Nice name,"she smiled. Joey looked at her"What caused you to be out here?"he asked."My mom hates me so she chased me out,"she signed. Joey stopped talking and they walked. Days went by till they were one year old."BOO!"Kaitlyn said jumping on Joey. He knocked her in the head then jumped up"You know not to do that!"he growled."I'm sorry,"she whimpered. Kaitlyn gave him a little lick,"I can't stay mad at you,"Joey smiled and licked her back. The two were best friends,nothing more nothing less. Kaitlyn walked out of the alley and sat on the sidewalk. The once deserted place was now alive with everything. A little girl walked by her."Mom puppy!"she yelled. Kaitlyn stood and walked to her. The mom swatted at her. Kaitlyn let out a yowl of pain and ran back to Joey. He was fast asleep again."Lazy bum,"she murmured. He looked up at her"I heard that."She laughed and then thy both walked to the sidewalk and sat."You hungry?"Joey asked."No I'm fine,"she yawned. Kaitlyn barked at the kids. Hoping to have a kind pat on the head. All the moms just walked past her making wired faces. She sighed and put her head down."You don't need people,"Joey said,"I'm here,"he smiled. She licked him,"You're funny,"she said. He stood up and walked back in the alley and grabbed some food out of the trash can."Last chance Kaitlyn are you hungry?"he asked. She shot him a glance,"No I'm fine,"she stated. Kaitlyn stood up and walked closer to the passing people. She walked all day and ended up somewhere she had never been. Buildings high,signs flashing,dogs on leashes. The sign red THE NEW NEW ORLENS. She sat down to think."Joey he's still back in New Orlens. She laid down and started to weep."Trust me I'll follow you anywhere,"Joey said. She stood up and turned around,"Joey!" The two hugged then walked on."I'm starting to get hungry,"Kaitlyn admitted."Ugh really,"he moaned. They walked down the first alley they came to. Trash cans filled with food sat down there. Kaitlyn bolted towards then. She grabbed a hamburger."Can--I ha--ve some,"something mumbled. Kaitlyn looked over. There sat a little girl,skinny."Please,"she said. Kaitlyn laid it down at her feet. She barked a small woof and laid down next to her. Joey trudged down beside Kaitlyn. He slid the the ground,"What is that,"he growled."A child Joey,"she answered."A human!"He yowled,"Get it out of my sight!" "Joey it's a poor kid,"she said snuggling up against the girl."Oh ok,"he said,"You're lucky kid,"he barked. The girl snuggled into Kaitlyn's fur. The three slept like babies. In the morning the sun was bright and welcomed them into a new day."Joey we need to find her kin,"she said."Ok I'll go find people to help,"he said standing up then walkin away on the sidewalk. He looked for someone nice. Finally he found a young couple. He barked at the and pulled on there sleeves. Finally they followed him. When they saw the girl they picked her up and patted the dog's heads."Good job Joey,"Kaitlyn said and gave him a lick. At the same time they said,"I have to tell you something!" "You go first Joey,"Kaitlyn insisted."No you,"Joey said. At they same time they said,"I love you!" The two licked each other."No pups while we're still young though,"Kaitlyn said with a look in her eye."Promise,"Joey said. They twined their tails and walked off.
Couple days later...
Kaitlyn was out on the town while Joey was sleeping. Shadows soon crowded her. Growls and barks filled her ears. A dog jumped out on her,"Oh my little stupid mutt!"the dog growled."Who are you!"she snapped."Ha stupid I'm your mom,"she snapped back,"And I bet you are dying out here alone not one friend not anything!" "Yes I do I hav..." When she said that Joey appeared. He knocked her mom off,"She's got me the one that was their for her cared when no one else did I love her for who she is and not because her looks,"he growled,"Her mom doesn't even love her that's awful!" Her mom let our a sigh,"I know it's just I never wanted pups and runts usually don't make it so I just kidding I wanted to make her life awful!"She growled,"Listen here pup,"she said growling at Kaitlyn,"You better not stray off without your mutt friend." Joey cut her off,"I'm full bred Border Collie!"he growled."Your a mutt to me,"she said and continued,"I have dogs, killer dogs that would rip you up and your mutt friend in a minute. They know what you look like,so better watch it you hear!"she snapped and disappeared into the shadows. Kaitlyn turned to Joey,"Thank you!"she said and put her head around his neck."Listen I wouldn't let a thing happen to you,you're all have and I'm all you have,"he smiled. Kaitlyn growled,"We have to stop her or something." "I say let her be,"Joey said."And just let dogs die for no reason!"Kaitlyn snapped,"Are you mad!" Joey looked at her an thought,"I just saved your life I'm mad?" Kaitlyn looked at him,"Sorry about the mad thing but we have to do something." "Ok I guess we can,"he said.
Meanwhile ~Kaitlyn's Mom~
"He's a Border Collie they love frisbee so just get one and play like you want to play with him then kill him!"she barked. "Yes ma'am,"the dog said. He took the frisbee and himself to the park.
Joey and Kaitlyn walked to the park. They were scared but tried not to show it. Joey saw the dog with the frisbee,"Hey toss it to me!"he barked. The dog threw it and ran towards them."JOEY NO!"Kaitlyn jumped and they fell to the ground."RUN!"she yelled and they took off. They slid into a alley."I wanted to play,"he said."That's my big brother he'll kill you he was sent by my mom!" "Oh,"he sighed."Let's go,"she said. They met with dogs that were nice and loving. They went to where her mom was."Hey stupid mutts!"she barked,"How do you like this!"they all charged and fought. Joey and Kaitlyn went to the rulers. Kaitlyn's mom and her biggest brother. She lunged at her mom,biting into her fur. Joey swiped his paw across her brother's face. It knocked him down. Joey bit into his neck,"Weak,"he said and knocked him off the rock. He jumped on her mom. Both of them bit into her. They battled and fought. Till her mother lie still as a rock,dead."We did it!"Kaitlyn barked and kissed Joey. He blushed and kissed her back. Th two stood high on the rock heads high in the air with pride.Joey spoke,"We have defeated the evil with caring spirit."he stop."And love,"Kaitlyn said and put her paw on his."Our friendship lives forever but our love will never die..."
