But I'm still only thinking about it. I'm not sure If I want to have another artist.

hehe sailor was a random pick up becuase she my bestie, and she now has a tablet. She's improving with every equid so her designs will be even more awesomer soon.

Well, that explains that then. Shouldn't artists be picked on skill and creativity, not just because they're a friend? Just saying. I'm glad you've given an improving artist the opportunity to make equids and get better over time.

Not to mini mod, but I'm sure horsy didn't just choose sailor because she was a friend. Sailor obviously has good skill and it is up to horsy who she chooses to be artists. If she doesn't want to hold a contest, then that's up to her.

I think that having a breedings only artist is a really great idea. If you do go with that idea, I think it would really help cut down on the number of people waiting for their first wmes, and the sheer flood of people who send their requests to the artists!

Currently sailor is not doing that many. And she probably won't if I know her (about as unmotivated as me) which is part of the reason why. If I hired a another full time artist there would be a mass making of them becuase that person would be so happy to make them, also it's about trust. I know I can trust sailor and I know she will respond if I ask her to change something. Same with all my artists.

One of the reasons I am thinking so hard about a new artist is that I don't have time to baby sit a new artist and double check their creations. With the artists I have I know that I can trust them.

Maybe horsy, if the artists are busy or start to get slow, you could hold a guest artists comp?
They would maybe make two? And It probably wouldn't be first cme first get, you'd see how good they are at wme's quip/designs? Idk xD
