Use: I am so in love with Knute and his siblings' designs. They're not anyone's normal cup of tea, but they happen to be a litter of two of my favorite characters that others own. I've drawn and familiarized myself with both Knute's mother and father, and I think that he'd be a great addition to my character family. I'm struck with great muse by his simple design and especially by the basketball on his shoulder. It was his own inspiration for life, and I plan to use the one marking as the basis for my story. He'd be a great main character!
- About the character -
Name: Knute
Behind the name: Knute is a Norse name meaning "knot". I figured that the boy needed a unique name that could be considered a likely athlete's name that's quite short but foreign and rare. Knute was the first name of a man that coached football at Notre Dame. When searching for good athlete's names, it came up, and I absolutely knew that I had to give him the name!
Gender: Male ♂
Species and/or specific breed: Wolf
Personality:
History/Background:
Basic outline for my own use. Is very sketchy, but I'll get a story written out before it's time to judge. [begins with stepping foot on court before game. describes his "just barely getting by" sort of life-style when it comes to grades and being a "good boy". has great parents, but has not developed strong relationship with them like his siblings have. distant and on his own. goes into the game and hurts himself severely, and is told he may be out for the season. becomes eligible to play a few games before the end of the season. is not trying any longer in grades because there's no use to keep them up if you're not able to play. there's no reason to do well in one thing so that you're eligible for another if you're not able to do that one thing. was in deep pit in grades and cannot raise them. has some inspirational change or something? maybe a few party scenes here and there? a few inner/conflicting thoughts? idk, still a work in progress]
