those are seperate at a later date i may limit their breeding but right now its unlimited

The reason behind her name is rather obvious. When I first saw her, I saw a night sky filled with fireflies.

What will you use it for:
I would use her as my character - it would be an honour to, and perhaps make some art of her. I'll order art for her, too.

Why do you want it:
Well, I would like her because her design was the first Crystinalian to capture my eye in this batch. I instantly fell for her design and just wanted to try for her immediately. I would love her as my character, and as my first Crystinalian. Even with the new Crystinalians, I still think she's the most beautiful of them. She'll probably be my next to, as she somehow reminds me of myself. xD

History:
Birth
The newborn's mother licked the top of her wet head. The young newborn purred satisfyingly.
"Her crystal is like I've never seen," she heard a male hiss. Her father, most likely. The newborn lifted her head a little and meowed silently.
"She's our daughter," it's mother replied. She sounded calm and convinced, maybe a little forced. "Mine and yours. Our blood."
"That crystal," the male repeated, disgust was showing now, even more than before. The newborn listened as her mother chuckled. She didn't quite understand the conversation, and so turned to where her mother might be and meowed, hoping for her mother to explain to her.
"Look," the soft mature voice of her mother sighed, "Fireflies."
The newborn mewed louder, as though answering to her name. She listened as her mother laughed heartily, and for a while, the intensity faded.
"She thinks her name's Firefly," her mother said, a happy tone to her voice. "Hello there, Firefly."
Firefly proudly lifted her head, and laid it on her mother's large paw. She purred before falling into a deep sleep, her first one.

Shunned
Verb: Persistently avoid, ignore, or reject (someone or something).
Firefly crept towards a group of young Crystinalian cubs. It'd been three weeks since she'd come to this clearing where the other cubs always played, yet none of them had ever approached her. This time, she would approach them.
"Hey girls!" she grinned at the group. They looked at her with disgust.
"Your crystal is sooo weird," one said.
"My mom says you're cursed and I shouldn't get too close to you," another said, fidgeting and backing away from her.
Not giving up, Firefly stood proudly and said, "My mommy says I'm special!"
The group laughed, except the fidgeting one. Like though she were never there, they continued talking and gossiping like there was no tomorrow. Eventually, Firefly left in search for another group.

Accepted
Her head was hanging low, sad and frustrated. Every group she went to had ignored her or lashed at her. What was so bad about her crystal? She looked up, right at her mother, metres away from her. Her mother was talking heartily to her friends, who seemed to be quite wary of the Firefly. She hung her head, looking to the side, at a flowing clear blue river. Sluggishly, disheartened, she walked to the banks and sat, staring at her reflection. She turned a little, to stare at her crystal. She thought it was beautiful, but why didn't anyone see it like she did? Firefly jumped, when she heard rustling in the tall grasses by the bank. Slowly and quietly, careful not to get seen, she walked towards the grass, pushing gently at the grass that covered her body. She took another step, then stopped as she watched a cub, all alone, playing with just a blade of grass. She crept up to it and watched as it kicked, spun and clawed at the blade of grass.
Finally, Firefly spoke up.
"What're you doing?" she asked, curious, and fascinated.
The cub screamed, surprised. Firefly quickly got up and ran about thirty centimetres from the cub. She watched the cub afraid, when the cub only laughed.
"So it was only a cub," it giggled, and she realised it was a he, "like me!"
He had a fluffy white chest, which was puffed out, and a light tan coat. The little crystal that poked out from his fluff was a light blue, almost white. He looked no older than Firefly was, and his posture was perfect. When he smiled, one of his sharp teeth showed between his lips.
"My name's Cirus," he greeted with a grin. Firefly flinched. No one here had smiled at her before.
"I'm Firefly," she replied, nervous all of a sudden. Cirus laughed at her, then pounced on her, playfully nipping her, play fighting her.

Promise
Days passed, maybe weeks, since they first became friends, and soon they were like one. They always knew what the other was thinking, was always nearby one another, and couldn't stay apart for long. Firefly bounded on to Cirus' back playfully.
"Hey Cirus," she said, her tone serious. "We'll be together forever, right?"
Cirus laughed. She could feel his body vibrate as he did. "Of course! No matter what, I'm always with you."
Firefly didn't see him smile, but she knew. She knew he was smiling. She knew they were going to be together forever, through the good and bad times. Forever. Eternally.

Forever and Always
Firefly, now an adult, stepped out from her cave, breathing in deeply. The morning smelled good. She turned to look at another cave, the cave Cirus owned. She walked over, smirking, then pounced on to his large figure. He struggled from under her weight, then let out a laugh. He turned her over with his own weight and playfully nipped her neck. She laughed, getting up, then walked out the cave.
"Let's go hunting," she giggled. Cirus nodded and bounded towards her.
"Just what I was planning to do," he said, taking the lead.

They were hidden behind a large rock, showing only their crystals to lure some unfortunate prey. It worked, attracting the attention of a rather large buck. At once, the duo pounced onto the buck and dug their claws and teeth into his hide. It kicked and flailed, but the two were strong and determined. The buck stopped struggling and let itself die.
"That was way too easy," Cirus complained.
"Well," Firefly grinned, "We didn't have to use much of our energy, did we?"
Cirus rolled his eyes, then walked behind the rock. Firefly followed behind.

They waited a long time, but nothing came by. Only that buck had. Firefly groaned, bored and frustrated. She wanted to play - call her immature if you want - and goof about. Cirus was clearly bored, scratching at the rock with his claws. Suddenly, they heard a growl above them. They lifted their eyes up to whatever it was. A shadow covered it's face, but it's sharp teeth could be seen. Cirus and Firefly both got to their feet in panic, backed away and took off. They raced through the forest, dodging, twisting, bouncing off trees, in desperation to get away. What had that monster been? She turned back, staring at the hideous monster.
"What in the name of crystals is that?!" she yelled.
"I- I don't know!" Cirus answered without looking back. He was focused to what was in front of him.
Firefly looked forward, then tripped over a tree root, squeaking.
"Firefly!" Cirus called, stopping in his tracks. He looked at the monster, getting closer and closer. Protectively, he jumped in front of Firefly and growled at the unknown beast.
"What're you doing, Cirus?" she whimpered, afraid.
"Go. Now," he murmured, turning towards her with fierce eyes.
"I'm not leaving you."
"Well, you have to."
"You'll die."
"I won't."
Frustrated, Firefly climbed a tree swiftly. "I'm not moving from here," she hissed.
"We don't know if it can't climb trees," Cirus said, his eyes wide.
Firefly gasped, "Cirus! Look-"
She was interrupted by Cirus' whimper in pain. The beast was upon him. Firefly wanted to save him, wanted to jump and kill that beast - but she was frozen to the spot. Her shocked eyes were moving between both the beast and Cirus. She panicked. Cirus swiped his claws at the beast's neck and green blood poured from it's wound.
"Green blood?!" he muttered. Before he realised anything, the monster bit into his neck.
"Cirus!" Firefly shrieked. Her frozen state was taken over by adrenaline and she jumped, landing on the beast's back. She ripped at it's skin, biting, clawing, digging her claws into it's flesh. Tears were streaming down her eyes as she hoped Cirus would be fine. The beast could do nothing with Firefly on it's back. It tried in vain to reach her.

It collapsed to the ground, it's breathing slow. Firefly stared at the corpse of the beast, covered in green blood, several scratches and bruises from the beast's attempt to throw her off. She walked over to Cirus, staring into his glassy eyes. He was breathing, but so lightly she couldn't see his chest move.
"Cirus, don't die on me now," she whispered. She laid beside him, licking his wound.
"I- I'm sorry, Firefly," he whispered. "I can't keep our promise any longer."
Firefly remembered their promise and let out a little disheartened laugh. "You can."
"But how?" he managed, and with his last breath, he added, "I won't live."
"You'll always be with me," she whispered to his lifeless body. More tears streamed down as she put together the next words and they came as a squeak, "in my heart."

What will you use it for:
Probably as a character, and possibly as a character to draw. I love enjoy creating stories quite often, so it's quite likely he will end up in some of my writing.

Why do you want it:
Well, first off, I love the breed, and have been wanting to get one for quite a while now. This guy's colours jumped out to me, as blue is one of my favourite colours, and I love how you blended it all together. I also really like his designs.

What will you use it for:
I would use this adorable young fellow as a loved character. This species he belongs to, is extremely unique and is really inspirational for me to do many upon many pieces of art of him, as well as ordering some from other artists here on CS.

Why do you want it:
Why do I want Dante? Firstly, like I said above, this species is really special and unique and I would be ever so greatful to be a part of it. But also, though now his design is simple, I think he stuck out to me the most. I love his colors, and an really anxious to see what he will look like as an adult.

'As a Kit'
:| His personality is pretty basic now, since he is very young and quite frankly unable to do a whole lot at this point in time..|:

-Playful-
Like most young, Dante is playful. He cannot yet leave the den or the comforting reach of his mother, but somehow he finds a way to goof off by biting his mothers ear or batting at her tail. He is pretty lively for one his age and has no problem trying to explore as much as he can manage.

-Curious-
Once he opened his eyes for the first time, the instinct of curiosity kicked in. He has a desire to understand the things around him and discover what this new place is all about. This trait though is bound to his lack of mobility, but no doubt as he grows he will be quite the explorer.

-Innocent-
Young have always posessed the trait of innocence. Dante seems to be the appitomy of the young innocent. He has a heart of gold, sweet, honest, capassionate and you can see it all in his twinkling eyes.

'As an Adult'
