King Ahknemhapotep was a beloved and adored ruler. He ruled over his kingdom justly and fairly for many years. In fact, he ruled for so many years beyond the average lifespan of a purse pup that his subjects began to wonder if he really was a god on Earth. Alas, he really wasn't, but he liked that his subjects thought that of him. In actuality, the Pharoah had a dark secret. He had been extending his life using magic no mortal should be able to perform, and -as you all should know- magic comes with a price. He knew full well that there would be consequences to his actions, but he decided that whatever consequences might befall him, it would be better than the alternative of dying and letting his nephew take the throne. The Pharoah was not a selfish man, and was not extending his life for himself, but for his subjects. You see, his nephew was a tyrant in the making. He mistreated his servants and knew nothing about ruling. Even as Pharoah, he couldn't override his nephew's claim to the throne, but if he could produce an heir, his child would become ruler instead. Unfortunately, try as he might, his wife never gave birth to a single child, and he was left without an heir. Eventually, after many years he decided that there was nothing else he could do, and he decided to let life take its course. Magic, however, is a tricky thing. It doesn't always do what you want it to. The Pharoah had so much of the life extending magic in his system that discontinuing the magical treatment wasn't enough to end his life. He opted instead for magic of another sort - a sleeping potion. The potion was said to last 100 years, and he decided that would be enough time for the magic to leave him permanently. His wife also agreed to take the potion as she was tired of having such a long life as well. They left instructions for a proper Egyptian burial, and toasted each other with golden goblets one last time...
One hundred years later...
The Pharoah has awoken. His wife is still asleep, but she often stirs in her sleep and her awakening seems eminent. In the time he has been gone, his nephew has been replaced by ruler whose ruling abilities rival even that of Ahknemhapotep himself. Ahknemhapotep has decided to celebrate his new life by throwing a party for all his subjects, and you're invited. Beware though, there are still residues of dark magic floating around. Don't let your guard down. Who knows what could happen.

Welcome travellers, to the
CURSE OF THE PURSE!
PPPE Halloween Event
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This is an opportunity for new and old PPPE'rs to get together and have fun playing games and adopting purse pups. For those of you unfamiliar with PPPE, here is a link to the main thread. Since I want to keep this event fun and safe for everyone, there are some rules you guys need to follow:
~Rules~
- No whining! There will be lots of opportunities to adopt purse pups.
- Respect me and all the other artists/mods. You should respect everyone, but if a staff member asks you to do or not do something, listen to them! If you have any problem with a staff member, send me a PM. Keep it off this thread.
- No stealing any content from this thread. That includes the pups them selves, the accessories, collars, the RP beginning, and just about everything else.
- Use the code I gave you! It contains a link back to PPPE. If you remove the link I have the right to take away your purse pup!
- Be polite! If you are nice it will make me happier, and more willing to make purse pups cooler. If many people are mean, there will be more time between litters, and probably less updates.
- Make sure your form is complete before posting it! If it isn't complete you don't get a pup. I'm a little more lenient if you don't pick a name or gender, just put WIP in your form in those sections.
- Use proper grammar and punctuation, or at least try. You won't get in trouble if you break this rule, but it may create misunderstandings and I may not be able to read your form if it ees riten lyk d!s! Good sentence structure with proper capitalization and puntuation is great if you writing a longer post. For a short post, lack of capitalization and punctuation is fine.
- IMPORTANT: when you adopt a purse pup you are essentially borrowing it from me. If you quit CS or no longer want your purse pup, I request that you return it to me. I have the right to take away a purse pup from anyone at anytime for no reason at all (although I will usually have a reason xP). I'd highly appreciate it if you keep your purse pup in your signature or a character thread.
- Of course, all of Tess's rule still apply.
Punishment for breaking the rules can be as simple as you not getting the pup you want, or permanent ban. So think before you type 'kay? My system is one warning, 2 day ban, then permanent ban. Of course, I do take into account the seriousness of the infraction. You aren't going to get banned for an incomplete form or two.
