Are they herbivores or omnivores or carnivores? Because this kinda effects some names I was thinking of xP Thanks and I am loving the species so far :3

Sorry I didn't see this question earlier, they're Omnivores, though they will only eat plant life for the majority of their lives, they will eat flesh if the winters are so harsh that plant life is near impossible for them to find. Their habitat conditions will be explained further when I update the first post with all of their information.

After a whole lot of re-reading through names and trying a few combinations out to get something that strikes the right chord for me, I've come up with is..

Arcane is a play on arcanus, meaning mystery in Latin.
