I don't think it would. And I have very good reasons for not offering customs.
The problems with custom STL:s would be that this immedeatly would turn into a shop. If I offered them for free I belive this place would be flooded with people craving free customs. If I would charge for them I'd have to move it to another board (and then it's really would be a shop). The point is that this project is about spreading the love and treating others with respect, but with customs the project would soon be forgotten in favour of the STL shop concept.
So my fear is that the meaning of the project would go lost because of people ordering the customs because they want a cute custom of their character, not because they'd like to show their support for the cause.

It could be made the other way around, like only people who promised to behave would get one, but I really neither can or want to keep people in check.

Sorry Ponypal, at the moment I have no spare time for the STL puppies. And I kind of think that 120 something puppies is enough for anyones puppy needs.
