I'd suggest just a written family tree it's much simpler

Thank you! It did take a bit of effort, but it was well worth it.

And yes, a written tree would be simpler, but its really interesting to be able to glance over it and see family similarities and passed on traits and random occurrences in the family. Thanks for the suggestion though, its appreciated.

Ok, so if one wants to do a tree that is made up of coding as opposed to all thrown in one picture, well, I worked on that. I was wondering how to tackle the issue of multiple mates and mates in later generations (as this occurs in Rowan's family). Here's what I have so far:

I don't yet know what I'll do if some of Rowan's center children mate... Also, I understand that this one may be a bit difficult to read; everything in red means mates, litters are separated by | and relatives who are more distantly related are separated by ||
I'm going to try to work something easier out, and I'll probably improve it even more when I can put it all in a document/ image as opposed to only being able to work it via coding.

because then we would have to deal with having longhaired orientals and short haired himalayans, and i do not want to draw the lines for those. so i just made it easy for all of the artists and made it that way ^^
