Chelz wrote:^^; So, on the subject of the smili underneath the smili with the funny tail, would they pass as a Tundra smili? Or a German smili? And if so, which one would they be more suited to? I was thinking Tundra smili because of the white, but I'm not sure.

The smili below the one with the stumpy tail is the Barn Owl smili, based on a bird design. Because of that I'd recomend Casmera Smili, but it doesn't quite satestfy the general colouring of those. Colourwise I think it reminds of a Scrub Smili the most. I think Tundra Smili would work too, but it might be a little too light to be a German one.

Thank you very much for keeping us updated Atwood. Hopefully I'll be donating the next batch of smili tonight.

Ah, so that's the infamous barn owl smili.
But yeah, thanks for the help there, Spotty. xD Evidently I have decisions to make, oh noes!

If I get Nyra, she'll be a Pompeii Smili.

Is it possible to have a Pompeii/Tundra Smili mix?

Genetically possible, yes. But it's rather unlikely that a Tundra smili and a Pompeii smili would ever meet eachother. Normal smili don't move all across the globe. That hasn't stopped any of the adopted ones so far though, there are plenty smili far away from their place of birth.

Seriously I would love to hear that story. Sounds really epic and exciting. And I love Atwood's work that she did on Tobias Lori.

So that gives me a good idea...because as someone suggested earlier, Nyra would be good as a Tundra type. So I'll be having her as a mix in my adoption form.

Sorry I keeping referring the Smili by that name & gender. It's just much easier.

Well, and even if it coulourwise looks like a pompeii X tundra mix being grey and brown, with a large portion of white, the colours are really only depending on the place of birth. Even if it has parents of diffrent origens it is only born in one place. The barn owls place of birth would probably be a snowy mountain side, only judging from colour.

But don't let that stop your creative thinking. Maybe the two parents nested somewhere in between their natural haditats. Not quite the tundra, not quite the volcanic ash lands, but... A snow covered mountain somewhere half way between. Or Iceland. It has both snow and volcanous.

Oh, and that picture of Tobias is amazing! Atwood sure did a good job on it.

The "Taiga" type of habitat, currect? Not quite Ashlands but not quite the Tundra. It's cooler there but not frozen. I apologize for this mess I've caused.

I get too attatched too easily >.<*

I do that too, I'll refer to something I'm trying to get as the name I given it. Like my dragon Marshmallow. But every time I draw a smili the hardest part for me to draw is the ears...I can never draw them right. T3T I usually end up hiding the fact that I screwed up the split ears by making them super fluffy.

The tail & ears are my favorite parts, like on most critters. They have lovelt tail tips and gorgeous larger ears. Those factors usually draw me in.

But I HOPE I'll have room for her >.<* Since I've been downsizing in character count.
