Maybe someone could make a mountain subspecies x3
If I ever get around to writing his story, I might have him discover a mountain tribe or something, whenever he finds his way out the desert x3

Mountain smili is kind of the basic kind. Or rather mountain/taiga forest region. Possibly something like the swedesh fjällen. For some reason I kind of can see Bone stroll around there.

Oooh that's a pretty place :3

Maybe he could live around there.. o3o
Mmm I might have to write his story soon x3

Spotty, what would you say to a Norwegian/Norse subspecies?
I was spurred to think of this when I was talking with Edelweiss who may be trying out for a Smili in TaN next round. We were discussing where "her" Smili should live and how it could be of a subspecies, etc., etc. I began to put thought into having my next Smili be a strong male from Norway or around that area. There is just so much you could do with that idea.
Most Smilis would be darker "stone" colors such as blacks, grays, some dark browns and reds. Only on occasion would you get lighter colors like whites (I'm thinking about marble, the rock type), light browns, and dusty reds.
Similar to, I think, the German subspecies they would have a dominant Smili to lead a group or clan, usually a male, though not an elder. They would not be as likely to accept those who were different than themselves and would be quite strict in their rules. The following may also apply:
Some website. . . wrote:When naming a Norwegian child it was a custom to use a component from both the father and the mother's name for the first born of both sexes. So if the father's name was Bjørnar and the mother's name was Gunnild then the son might be called Gunnar or a daughter might be called Bjørnild.
The Norwegian origins of this these include place names, those related to mythology and history, origins from colours, plants and other types of nature, Fictional origins, historical origins, characteristic and religious origins. We then move on to the genre which can be classed as Descriptive, Place, Speciality and finally unique (or created name's)

I think music is about our internal life.
It's part of the way people touch each other.
That's very precious to me. And astronomy is,
in a sense, the very opposite thing. Instead of
looking inwards, you are looking out, to things
beyond our grasp.

That area is covered by the standard smili variant. The Smili smili, so to speak. It's their native habitat, and all these jungle and civilization ones are the oddies. Um, and since that area is colder than many other parts of the world, the standard smili usually come out a light brown/grey/tan.

I am the sword in the darkness.
I am the watcher on the wall
I am the fire that burns against cold
The light that brings the dawn
The horn that wakes the sleepers
The shield that guards the realms of men
For this night, and all nights to come.

'Kill the boy, Jon Snow. Winter is almost upon us.
Kill the boy and let the man be born'

I wish there would be more Tundra Smili too, but I don't think it'll be a popular sub-species

Spotty, the caterpillar may not want to be cuddled, but the floofy caterpillar will be cuddled.

Something tells me I should dust off the Smili assassin story and change it, a poisonous Smili would make a good assassin. So far I have:
Called Coralli, code named Raven. Female
Not very nice.
