Oh! I have a suggestion for their behavior and stuff.....
They could be really outgoing, intelligent, and peppy. They maybe tend to live in beautiful forests, the kind that are untouched by humans. Maybe in the areas where fireflies flutter around, and shy animals usually live. And maybe they could be a sign of peace and serenity if you find one. But these habitats are shrinking, so it's getting harder and harder to find them? I don't know, just a suggestion..... Maybe it's a little too much like the Whelkons.

Oh, and also, maybe I could make a RP in the near future? I love RPing, and thought it would be fun to make one about DBDs. Then you posted the info and stuff, and I really wanted to make a thread. Just asking. I was thinking a deforestation plot? Idk....

Aaand, they do not. :B
Underneath their feet is a thin layer of padding, though it's very strong and suitable for all types of terrain. It's not visable when they are standing.
Their fur texture is a type of soft, scale-like feathers that are really smooth and barely stick out from thie body.
Bah, I have all these ideas, really need to write up a thread soon :B

Why do you want to be an Artist for the DBH?:
Well, as I put above these guys are so cute and..well, unique I guess, which is an amazing thing<33 the combination of "dragons" and "birds" is one I have never seen- or indeed thought of before. Their colours are bright and pretty- and the markings are awesome too- and you'd have the freedom of doing different and eye-catching colour combinations while still keeping it true to the species.

How much time and work would you be willing to dedicate?:
Welp, School has started for me again xP But I tend to have around 4-5 hours a night, and I'm usually on the Internet for all of that time x3 And on the weekends I have loooaads more than that, so, heh. :'3 I come on every day, and would be willing to dedicate most- if not all- of my time on CS doing Adoptable work.

Why do you want to be an Artist for the DBH?:
Dragonbird Hoppers are really different from all the common fluffy canine adopts that are all over the place now.[no offense to anyone, I actually adore them all cx] It's really the feathers that are attracting me o3o They're so beautiful and detailed, makes me want to be a Dragonbird . Then again, it isn't really about the feathers. I would love to be able to help you bring DBH to life, and also I really enjoy seeing the joy of someone who wins one^^

How much time and work would you be willing to dedicate?:
I've just started school, so I'd probably make about 1 every day or so; I'd say an average of up to 8-9 per week, probably more on weekends than weekdays. I'd try to make at least a number of 4-5 a week, though. I'd try my hardest in every DBH I make, and I would definitely try to make designs using patterns like yours.

Also, I can make gift lines/stamp/banner if you want o3o
