Ok, Decided to help the naming.

When I though 'name for this species' the first word that came to my head was crested. Then Crescent. Only because of the masks and the horns. It also adds with the other body parts, hooves, feathering, etc etc. SO my suggestions is;

Crescent Equines (or maybe like I Am Myself put; Equi ;D)

Can't wait to see this species up and running! Literally ;D
