Augustus would never feel as though he had done enough. Never did he think he could. Skye and Sion were still alive and mostly intact, however, so that was enough. More then anyone could say about Augustus' past 'failures.' Those he hadn't been able to protect or save. As you would imagine, with Caesar, this amounted to many...many people. Then again Augustus had never formed any sort of relationship with those people, often finding them and meeting them much too late. Sion and Skye, however, he had formed a relationship with. A one-sided one, at least that was what he believed. His relationship with Skye was obvious, and even if he would never say it for fear of cursing the younger child like he had done to the very few others he had cared so deeply for, and he loved the boy. Sion, though Auggie would go quite so far as to say he loved Sion, he did care for as well....more of like an...annoying cousin or something like that. Caesar watched Sion's lame attempt to get him and Skye out of the small puzzle room, looking quite bored now. Once Sion had made it out, Caesar yelled that the medics needed to tend to his 'playthings' before he was checking in on Augustus. He had stopped the walls, but sadly Augustus had blacked out. Oh well. He could wait for the boy to wake up to play~
So when Augustus woke up, he found himself in the middle of the room, the walls spread apart like a normal room. He was able to move, unlike last time he had found himself dumped into this room. Only thing was, he couldn't feel his lower half. In fact, he couldn't feel much of anything. Oh god. No. This couldn't be happening. He had Skye that he needed to care for. Sion. Ugh. How long had he been out? That was when he heard his insane little half-brother's voice cracking over the microphones in the maze. "Looks like you're finally awake~! Now we can play. Skye and Sion finished with our playtime. Your turn! Go~!" Good. Skye and Sion were out of here. Augustus gave a groan, about to start dragging himself to the door like last time, when a small thought occured to him. Deciding against doing anything, Auggie just layed his head down on the ground, and closed his eyes, listening as the walls began closing around him. Oh god. Caesar. Come on. Augustus theory had been that if he didn't play along, Caesar would get bored and he could get out of there. Looks like his theory was failing and just like last time he gave a small cry when Caesar slowed down the walls when they came to him, so that he wasn't squished like a bug on a windsheild but instead slowly pushed together. "Auggie! That's not fair. You're no fun anymore!" Augustus heard Caesar yelling at him. Oh he was going to kill that boy when he got out of here. He was going to pull him apart, slowly. Rip his insides out. Cut his head off. Bleed him. Auggie hadn't thought things of that nature for a very long time. But it felt so good to imagine them. Finally he couldn't take it anymore. Augustus had been feeling numb earlier, but he could surely feel the pain of being slowly pushed together. Yelling curses and obscenities at the boy controlling this all, Auggie gave a sigh of relief when the walls suddenly pulled apart. Thank goodness. The next while was a blur, he was picked up and taken away by the medical servants, and before long he was asking to see Skye and Sion.

Luckily for Sion, for once he hadn't been injured when Caesar decided to 'play' with him. He had just taken a large dose of pure fear, tired himself nearly to the point where he would have drowned in that pool, and then spent too long in a boiling room. Sleep was the best cure in this case, and sleep he did. Being injected with some sort of calming drug while he was unconscious helped. When Sion awoke a few hours later, he could barely think, and just giggled periodically at the ceiling. It was not a simple drug in his system after all, to keep a boy with severe claustrophobia who had just gone through that maze completely calm. Augustus had been out awhile; Sion had woken several times, and after the first he wasn't utterly out of it. In control of his mind enough that he recalled that Skye had not been in good shape when they got out of the maze, to be exact, and he had promptly demanded to see the little child. Since his only injury was exhaustion, Sion had stood and pushed aside the person who told him to rest, looking around the room for the blond boy. He found him after a minute of wandering, and tried not to cry out. As someone who felt he needed to keep Skye alive, the sight was not a promising one.
Oxygen masks were something Sion had a bit too much experience with after being pushed off a balcony by Rei, having a rib puncture his lung at all. Also something Sion hated naturally, and knew meant nothing good. Seeing one on Skye made him freeze on the spot. The boy's irregular, pained breathing hadn't just been from fear then, and if they were having to artificially make him breath, then surely Skye was in terrible shape. Not asking, he didn't want to know, tired Sion just yanked over a chair and collapsed into it. Gaze fixed on the younger boy, the second thing he noticed was that Skye was crying. That was not surprising, really... especially not after that maze. It was when Skye reached out and grabbed his sleeve, yanking surprisingly hard for a boy who looked so weak, which was to say Sion could actually feel it, that Sion realized that the boy's gaze seemed significantly more focused. Little Skye was mouthing something, staring at Sion's face, looking terrified. "Skye... I have no idea what you're trying to say. ...You can actually understand me, can't you?" Sion added the last bit after a moment; Skye couldn't do this when he was lost. More then one action at a time left the toddler Skye hopelessly confused, after all. When the boy gave a tiny nod, Sion's guess was confirmed. Something had shocked him out of it. Skye's grip tightened on Sion's arm, his other hand clenching the edge of the bed, as if he was in pain. Sion looked to the Lithius doing whatever it was medical Lithius did -Sion had no idea, he was barely educated in most normal things, let alone this- and snapped something about painkiller, to which they assured him that Skye already had a good bit of it in his system and the reaction was probably just fear. Though Sion knew nothing about Skye's condition or what was happening to him, probably nearly drowning had something bad to the boy's lungs, he could sympathize with the poor boy. Days of near full life support had done that to Sion when he nearly died, making him care for anyone on anything like that.
"Skye, you're fine, calm down already. I know you can't tell what they're saying, alright? They're saying you'll be fine. You'll recover, now sleep or something." Sion knew nothing of his condition, but getting Skye to calm down could only help. And calm he did, though Skye was still crying and clutching at the bed. Sion just momentarily buried his head in his arms with a groan of frustration; why was this kid so hard to keep alive? Hearing the door open, and Auggie there, Sion pushed himself away from Skye, waving a hand in the general 'you care about him, he's your problem now' way. "I think he's snapped out of it... He can actually tell what I'm saying."

Sion may not have gotten injured, which was surprising since usually everyone who ended up 'playing' with Caesar ended up hurt/maimed/dead/etc, everyone else around him had been. Skye had been, Augustus surely had been....Sion had gotten off fairly easy this time, just needing sleep. Admittedly Augustus would have been quite amused if he had been with Sion when the boy had awoken and just giggled at the ceiling. Really that was something he would have loved to see. Caesar, did see it, and Sion should be glad he was loopy and had been able to fall asleep again later. Because Caesar became bored and left them, and instead chose to torment Augustus, who had already been harmed last time and now was being forced to 'play' with Caesar again. Yet for once, Augustus stood up for himself. Or more like layed there and didn't do what he knew Caesar wanted him to. But he had benefited from it, and was still alive. And now, thankfully, out of that situation. Well. He would have brusies from this, to say the least. Augustus had given specific orders that Caesar was to be drugged and kept chained up until Auggie could get to him. Right then he was more concerned with Skye and Sion. Or, more accurately, Skye. Sion he was worried about as well, not saying he was not, but he had asked and heard that Sion would be fine. Skye on the other hand...well Auggie wasn't a medical Lithius, for good reasons, he hadn't understood much of what they said. Instead they had, in the end, just told Augustus that he should check up on Skye himself. So Augustus had requested help and a wheelchair, he didn't feel up to walking everything hurt much too much, and had set out on his way to see them. His mind was tragically thinking up of every bad possibility that might have happened to Skye while he made the trip down the hall in the wheelchair to see the little child. The whole time each scenario was getting worse and worse, until it ended up like Rosalee, and by that time Augustus was crying, thinking that the medical Lithius had been trying to tell him that Skye had somehow died. Oh god. Did Caesar do something more to Skye and Sion while he had been gone and out? Was Skye dead under a sheet and he was going to find the boy a cold corpse? By the time he had reached the door he had been sobbing quietly to himself, and practically threw open the door. The sight before him wasn't what he had been expecting, as just said he had been suddenly thinking Skye would be dead or something, and it wasn't as bad as what he had been thinking it was. But once again, his worried little mind made it into something bigger. There was something on Skye's face, which upon looking at it he realized that it was a mask. Auggie gave a small choked cry upon seeing that, and wheeled himself into the room. After about three minutes of just staring at Skye, Augustus finally realized that Sion had said something. Though he hadn't listened and didn't know what the boy had said. Gently placing his hand over the one that was gripping tightly to the bed, Auggie stared at Skye's face blankly, having quickly stopped crying upon seeing Skye was alive and awake. Using his other hand he weakly reached up to use his thumb to wipe away the tears from Skye's face, before looking up at Sion. "I am glad to see that you are alive and fine. It seems that Caesar managed not to kill you. Do not worry, he will not be bothering you two for quite a while." Speaking quickly to one of the medical Lithius in the odd language that Auggie often did, the Lithius said a few things back, and Auggie just frowned, shaking his head. He looked confused, and kept repeating the same words over and over in a questioning tone to the Lithius, always getting the same response. Finally Augustus let out a yell of frustration, he free hand that wasn't holding onto Skye's grabbed a vase and threw it across the room. The Lithius servants in the room all froze, a few jumped, and each one was staring at Augustus in surprise. Naturally, since Augustus was usually the peacekeeper and usually so calm mannered and polite. The Lithius he had been questioning backed away, for Auggie's eyes had began to glow, before Auggie closed his eyes and took a minute to calm himself. That minute seemed like forever to him, and if anyone knew Augustus they could tell he was trying not to cry. Finally he opened his eyes again. "I am sorry. Please forgive me. Those of you who do not need to be in here, please leave." A few Lithius servants left, before Augustus was looking at Skye. "Hello there, dear little one. I would ask you to please forgive me as well, for not protecting you like I should have. I am deeply sorry for...for not...." Auggie stopped there, his voice cracking. Gritting his teeth together, he forced on his 'I'm calm and just fine' face. "Sion. How are you fairing?"

Sion was alive and fine for the moment, merely tired, more then he had been able to say then before. After falling out a tree, nearly dying more then a few times, and just everything that had resulted from what Caesar did, that was a lucky outcome. Skye was alive, for then, who knows what happened. Sion just couldn't understand the explanation, Skye certainly couldn't, and it seemed like Auggie couldn't either. That was problematic. Sion didn't know what happened to Skye while he was asleep either, which was a bit of a problem. He just watched Skye and Augustus, knowing there wasn't a thing he could do to help either of them. Seeing the Lithius that he owed both of their lives to in a wheelchair just made his hatred for the insane side of Caesar worse; like how Auggie viewed him, Sion thought the boy a helpful cousin of sorts that had a tendency to be very irritating as well. "I'm not sure what happened really... he opened a way out, and I managed to drag Skye out... I've been asleep. I don't know what's happened." Sion answered simply, essentially saying 'I don't know if something's happened to Skye since'. "He won't be...? I wont ask how. Thanks." It just seemed like the right thing to say. Like everyone else in the room, Sion jumped when Auggie threw a vase. He had never seen the boy violent like that, save for the brief moment when he had snapped at Jan. When the angered Lithius asked everyone who didn't need to be there to leave, Sion nearly joined them. But he stood, turned pale, and sat back down. Too tired, his legs hurt from swimming that pool, and he all around just didn't want to find his way back to where he had woken up. Not understanding any of the German, nor what Skye said in response, Sion disregarded it. "I'm fine, just tired. It's Skye I'm worried about..."
And Skye he should be worried about; the young child looked terrible. He wasn't in much pain, though it hurt a bit to breath, but Skye hated having a machine breathing for him, or more accurately just helping him. It was a terrifying feeling, and he couldn't tell what was wrong with himself. Hence him clenching onto the bed like it would save his life, crying. The normal Skye mostly returned, the blurred memories of everything that happened to him only added to the terrible confusion and fear he was feeling. Everything that Caesar had done was the most blurred, since Skye didn't want to remember it and was the most 'gone' at the time, but even just the brief flashes were bringing tears to his eyes. Skye's memory of when he was like a toddler was always faint and scattered, so it was hard for him to piece together what had happened. Sion. When had that boy gotten there? Hadn't he been out of state? Why was he saying he was fine? Comforting it may have been to hear, but that was also something people said to the potentially dying... Augustus was there. When did that boy get there too? But him Skye remembered, and associated with toys, playing, chocolate... good things that had happened amid the chaos. Luckily for Skye, breath masks were both clear, and it was possible to speak through them if difficult. He understood all of what Augustus said, something he couldn't do before, and his old personality was partially returned as well. "F-forgiven.... Augustus... what happened... to me?" Skye half-begged, wanting to know what was wrong with him, and why it was so hard to breath. German was still easier for him, it always would be given it was his first language, and since Auggie spoke it, Skye didn't have a reason to switch to English.

Everyone was alive at the moment. That was the most important thing. The thing that really mattered. Then again, Augustus was hurting terribly, and couldn't walk....but he was alive. Not many others who went through that maze, or any kind of 'playtime' with Caesar could say that. But he was so tired. Yes, he had just woken up. But he was tired still. Painkiller. He had it in him, but it wasn't killing the pain like he needed it to. Hopefully Skye wasn't in any danger, but looking at him....well Augustus mind was just swimming with all the horrific things that might have happened, most unrealistic but frightening him nonetheless. How much he wished he could just take the little child into his arms like he normally would have. Skye being in his condition, and Augustus in a wheelchair....prevented that. Looking up, finally, at Sion when he spoke, Auggie nodded slowly, before answering the Lithius. "I am most grateful to you Sion. And deeply sorry for what I have done....." Hanging his head, Augustus looked....ashamed. He didn't know what was wrong with Skye, and couldn't find out, nor possibly begin to understand. All he could do was stay there with the boy and give him everything he could. It was too much like reliving what had happened to Rosalee all over again.... "You'll be fine, my dear....dear little child. I am always here for you. Stifling a yawn, Augustus merely dipped his head to Sion, still watching Skye closely as though if he looked away, the child might vanish. "No. Do not thank me. It is something I should have done far sooner." Augustus wasn't one to get violent or angry. Watching Skye almost die in front of him, then seeing him like this....well it did that to him. It was just like before, when he had become violent with Jan. Jan had threatened Skye, and it had caused a violent reaction from Augustus. So one knew how to get a violent reaction from Augustus if they wanted one. But that wasn't a smart idea. When Augustus became violent...he didn't just become angry and temper tantrum like. He became violent and murderous. That was why it didn't happen often. "You should rest, my friend. Once Skye is well enough, I will have you moved back into the room next to mine. Hopefully you will not mind my staying in this room until then." Now Augustus didn't know Skye was 'back to normal.' He had missed that small part of what Sion had said when he had first walked, or more like wheeled, in. Hand loosening Skye's from his bed to link his fingers in with the young childs, Auggie said something to one of the remaining Lithius, and there they brought the little bear to Skye that Auggie had given him. Hearing Skye talk, Augustus raised an eyebrow, before answering him. "Quite a bit has happened to you, little child. But I will be here by your side always. You will be taken care of. But you should not forgive me....you have no reason to..." Augustus had been hoping to hear something along the lines of, 'How could you let this happen to me?' from Skye. Who knew why, but he had been. He had not been expecting to be forgiven.

Alive they were, and hopefully given Augustus orders Caesar wouldn't be bothering them for awhile yet. Skye needed to get away from there, but that was looking highly unlikely, given his condition Sion doubted he could be moved, and Wren, who would have known what to do for the boy should Skye be bought to him, was amnesiac. The problems kept adding up, it seemed. Sion just looked plain confused when yet again Augustus apologized, shaking his head. He really needed to stop that, there wasn't much more he could have done. "Stop apologizing. It won't change anything." Sion snapped back simply, hoping Augustus would at least understand that, even if he couldn't realize he was not to blame for anything. When again Augustus said not to thank him, Sion resisted the urge to slap him. It was annoying him, the other boy's near constant repenting attitude. "I won't disagree with that, but better now then never." Naturally, Sion was one to take note of what angered people, since it was something he found himself trying to do frequently. While had no intention of trying to anger Augustus -yet anyways, one never knew with Sion- let alone hurt Skye in the act, it was habit and Sion did it naturally. When Augustus suggested that he rest, it sounded like a great suggestion to the tired Sion. "Just so long as Caesar shows up, I don't mind." was all he answered with, shrugging, before standing. Wavering when he did -the previous day's crawling and swimming didn't do much good for his injured leg- Sion swore, before looking around. So, he had come from... over there somewhere. Okay, he could find the bed... after a bit of staggering around, Sion collapsed onto the bed, and was asleep within a minute.
While Sion and Augustus had been talking, Skye nearly managed to fall asleep, but every time the terror of what had happened kept him from it. He hadn't responded to what Augustus first said, still trying to get used to the fact that Auggie had such strange little names for him, on top of choking back the panic and the difficultly of speaking while a machine was mostly breathing for him. Feeling his hand pulled off the edge of the bed and Augustus' then in it, Skye's own hand latched around it with the tiny strength left in him. When the bear Augustus had given him days before was brought over, Skye hesitated. Like said, he wasn't a toddler anymore, and his strange pride had returned. However, since fear mostly wiped that away, Skye grabbed the stuffed animal and clutched it against his chest anyways. Like how Augustus didn't realize Skye had snapped out of his little lost mind, Skye didn't realize that Augustus didn't know. Hopefully though, since this would make two complete sentences from him, the older boy would finally understand. "I'm alive... that's what matters... this isn't going to kill me is it?" Skye added the last bit on in desperation; Sion he doubted knew what was going on, so he just had to know. Sadly for Skye, Augustus couldn't really know either.

Caesar was tucked away in a bed, chained up to it even, and had drugs in his system that were keeping him calm and asleep. Augustus orders were standing currently, and Caesar would stay where he was unless either someone higher on the Council ordered something different, or when Skye and Sion left, then Augustus would give his own orders. Or if Jan could get those drugs from Wren. But Auggie didn't have any hopes for that situation to work out, simply because Wren didn't remember anything. And even once he did, Augustus would be giving Skye to him just so Skye could be safe. Shrinking back when Sion snapped at him for apologizing, Augustus took it in a different way then what Sion meant it. "I know! I know it won't. I'm sorry!" Sion's hope failed. Augustus would never understand. Being told your whole life that you were cursed and everything bad that happened was your fault....well it had imprinted itself onto his mind. Sion slapping him would be a bad idea, because Augustus was hurt enough for one, and secondly because Auggie would, as usual, take it the wrong way and think Sion was hitting him because he was truely mad that all this was Augustus' fault. Head hanging further in shame as Sion said he didn't disagree, Augustus nodded, or at least the best one could when their head was hanging from complete sorrow and shame. Of course Sion would take note of what angered people. Of course he would. But Sion needed to realize, it didn't just anger Auggie. Sion wouldn't end up with just a few scars if he managed to anger Auggie. No indeed, Sion would end up dead. So hopefully Sion would not be an idiot and just for the hell of it anger Augustus. "He will not. I assure you." Was the returned reply, watching the boy waver, Augustus on instinct tried to get up and help him, before softly crying out. Walking was not happening, and Auggie needed to remember that. In truth, Auggie hadn't asked about himself because had hadn't wanted to know. But being put in a wheelchair after asking to go see Skye and Sion wasn't very promising. Through everything before, even getting stuck through by Caesar's knives or claws, Augustus had merely needed help walking in the form of people holding onto him or something of that sort. Naturally Auggie always thought the worst had happened. Watching Sion collapse onto the bed and fall asleep, Auggie gave a sigh of relief, before his attention returned to the child in front of him, who had begun grasping tightly to his hand. But with what Skye answered with, Augustus finally realized that the boy had snapped out of it. Oh how interesting, that water and complete fear and panic had made that happen. At least, or hopefully, he wouldn't be getting into much trouble now. Hearing Skye ask him if it was going to kill him, Augustus winced, before clasping his other hand over Skye's. "Yes indeed you are alive. And you shall continue to stay that way if it concerns me. No, my love. This will not kill you." He was trying to reassure Skye. But of course, he didn't know for sure if it would or not. But no one had said it looked fatal....yet.

Sion hadn't been expecting Augustus to understand that neither Skye not himself blamed him for anything that had happened. It hadn't worked up until then, Auggie finally realizing seemed pretty unlikely. Sion didn't bother to say anything else before he left, walking away with a shake of his head. He had nothing against the older boy, and owed him a good bit, but that constant 'I must repent' attitude was highly irritating to him, and Sion didn't want to hear anymore of it. Besides, he was tired, as proven by the fact that he was asleep within a minute after collapsing onto the bed. It would be awhile before that boy woke up again, now that there was someone else to watch Skye, making it so Sion stopped caring.
Skye never really knew how his own mind worked; trauma both made him leave reality, and sometimes return. Having a wound cauterized had made leave, but then Adelle torturing him brought his mind right back. Bizarre the way that worked. Well, that was one way to keep track of how to get Skye to stop being a toddler, however cruel of one. Dump him in water. Some day it might be necessary, for all they knew. Seeing Augustus wince when he asked if he would die, Skye had feebly cried out; he took that as a yes. When Auggie then said that no, it wouldn't kill him, the relief was visible in his face. Skye believed him, not knowing that Augustus had no idea what his condition was like. As always, Skye just kept clinging onto Auggie's hand, even when he felt the boy's other hand on top of his. His other hand was still tightly wound in the bedsheet, as if gripping onto something could prevent him from dying or something of the like. "Thank you..." Skye said simply, not sure what to say. What did one say after something like that, knowing they wouldn't die? Skye never said anything like 'thank god', as any faith he had in some greater power had vanished around the time Adelle found him. "Don't call me that..." Skye added, referring to 'my love'. No... just no. Of all little nicknames, that was one he couldn't stand, not after Ari. "Caesar... where is....he?" Skye finally added, his tone wavering with fear; the idea that the sadistic Lithius could just reappear was a terrifying one, for good reasons.

Augustus most likely would never understand that bad things that happened around him were not his fault. Since he was a child, it had been burned into him. The previous Council Members who raised him had found it a very effective way to....well make him an obediant little servant to their plans. If only they knew what it had really done. It had opened Auggie's eyes. Oddly enough, the one to have raised him was also a Lithius named Augustus. Auggie had guessed that had been his father, though he would never know for sure. Especially since everyone had always said the boy had been twenty-five or so. But he had never believed that. That Council Member to have raised him was dead. He had been found with the black handprint mark. And Augustus knew the exact reasons for why he was dead. Augustus knew everything concerning the 'Black Mark' as it had been called. But tht was getting away from the main subject at hand, namely Augustus always apologizing for everything that happened if it was disagreeable to someone. It was just something Auggie did. It was highly unlikely that it would ever change. Some day it might be necessary to dump Skye in water to get im 'back to normal.' But hopefully not. Though it was something that Augustus was going to have to write in that little tablet of his. Slipping his hand into Skye's again when he saw the boy just gripping to the sheets, Augustus shook his head. Why on earth would Skye thank him? He couldn't help but smile slightly seeing Skye holding onto the bear. Even the normal Skye was quite adroable. But seeing as Auggie had never been around the normal Skye....well this would be interesting indeed. Wincing when Skye cried out, Auggie squeezed his hand. "It's fine, dear little child. Do not worry." Shrinking back when Skye told him not to call him that, Augustus was obviously hurt. Normal Skye was back indeed.... Dipping his head, he apologized. "Quite sorry, little...." Augustus drifted off, realizing that if Skye didn't want to be that, perhaps he didn't want any nicknames. "Skye. Sorry indeed. If that is what you wish...." Sucking it up, Augustus forced out a smile. "Caesar is drugged at the moment. You need not worry about him ever touching you again when I am around... Now, little child. You should rest. Too much has happened to you, everything I should have prevented. Can you sleep on your own or do you want something in your system to help you? I will be by your side the entire time." Skye looked like he needed to rest, and Augustus needed to as well. He was tired....and worried about many things, the main one being Skye. One of the lesser ones being....well he was stuck in a wheelchair....he wasn't sure what had happened....and wasn't sure if he wanted to know... Also, he wasn't sure how to act around this Skye. It was like starting over or something....

Skye knew nothing of the black hand-print, the deaths, or anything of that sort. His life had been whatever he was doing at the time, and everything else was irrelevant. To say the least, Skye was a bit oblivious to everything else that happened in the world. Like Augustus, Skye hated it when people kept apologizing for things they didn't cause, so maybe he would help Augustus stop blaming himself for everything. The bear would be something that Skye wouldn't let go, even back to normal. His childish side had fallen in love with the stuffed animal, and even when returned to 'normal' that wasn't going to go away. Skye had never matured, as everyone to ever meet him knew, so that was something that would stay. Skye calmed -as much as someone who was only half-alive could- when Augustus told him not to worry, another remnant from his toddler-state. Young as he had been, Augustus' word was like the definite-truth, as his confused mind couldn't doubt any of it. Bits of those feelings still lingered, though not as much so as before. Skye couldn't do much in terms of facial expression, naturally, given what was on half his face and helping him to breath, so he just clung onto Augustus' hands for dear life. The nicknames he didn't like, naturally, like the average more-then-a-bit arrogant teenager. Given how much effort speaking was taking, Skye waiting until Augustus was finished talking, before taking a long -pained- breath and responding in one stream of things. "Thank you, keep... him far away... it's not your... fault... " Those ten words cost him too much strength, and Skye was forced to break off and struggle to breath before continuing. Sleep... even Skye had to admit that he both wanted and needed it, but between the panic and pain of breathing, Skye knew that just falling asleep would be difficult. But he didn't want any injections... gaze finally looking somewhere other then Augustus' face or the ceiling and trailing down his arms, Skye saw -much to his ever rising panic- that there was already something in his arm. Knowing there was not way he could fall asleep naturally now, Skye finally spoke. "Knock me out..."
