Augustus would never feel as though he had done enough. Never did he think he could. Skye and Sion were still alive and mostly intact, however, so that was enough. More then anyone could say about Augustus' past 'failures.' Those he hadn't been able to protect or save. As you would imagine, with Caesar, this amounted to many...many people. Then again Augustus had never formed any sort of relationship with those people, often finding them and meeting them much too late. Sion and Skye, however, he had formed a relationship with. A one-sided one, at least that was what he believed. His relationship with Skye was obvious, and even if he would never say it for fear of cursing the younger child like he had done to the very few others he had cared so deeply for, and he loved the boy. Sion, though Auggie would go quite so far as to say he loved Sion, he did care for as well....more of like an...annoying cousin or something like that. Caesar watched Sion's lame attempt to get him and Skye out of the small puzzle room, looking quite bored now. Once Sion had made it out, Caesar yelled that the medics needed to tend to his 'playthings' before he was checking in on Augustus. He had stopped the walls, but sadly Augustus had blacked out. Oh well. He could wait for the boy to wake up to play~
So when Augustus woke up, he found himself in the middle of the room, the walls spread apart like a normal room. He was able to move, unlike last time he had found himself dumped into this room. Only thing was, he couldn't feel his lower half. In fact, he couldn't feel much of anything. Oh god. No. This couldn't be happening. He had Skye that he needed to care for. Sion. Ugh. How long had he been out? That was when he heard his insane little half-brother's voice cracking over the microphones in the maze. "Looks like you're finally awake~! Now we can play. Skye and Sion finished with our playtime. Your turn! Go~!" Good. Skye and Sion were out of here. Augustus gave a groan, about to start dragging himself to the door like last time, when a small thought occured to him. Deciding against doing anything, Auggie just layed his head down on the ground, and closed his eyes, listening as the walls began closing around him. Oh god. Caesar. Come on. Augustus theory had been that if he didn't play along, Caesar would get bored and he could get out of there. Looks like his theory was failing and just like last time he gave a small cry when Caesar slowed down the walls when they came to him, so that he wasn't squished like a bug on a windsheild but instead slowly pushed together. "Auggie! That's not fair. You're no fun anymore!" Augustus heard Caesar yelling at him. Oh he was going to kill that boy when he got out of here. He was going to pull him apart, slowly. Rip his insides out. Cut his head off. Bleed him. Auggie hadn't thought things of that nature for a very long time. But it felt so good to imagine them. Finally he couldn't take it anymore. Augustus had been feeling numb earlier, but he could surely feel the pain of being slowly pushed together. Yelling curses and obscenities at the boy controlling this all, Auggie gave a sigh of relief when the walls suddenly pulled apart. Thank goodness. The next while was a blur, he was picked up and taken away by the medical servants, and before long he was asking to see Skye and Sion.
