Oh wow, thank you, I was surprised. There's a lot of good entries there. I'm glad you liked mine.

I'm off to trade now.

Equid

Thank you sooo much.

It states clearly in my rules you may not keep your entry unless I give an o-k, and I did NOT give an ok, so I'm going to ask you politely to please do not use the characters unless they are yours, and they are not.
I don't want to seem rude, but you can't just take back characters, especially if they won something. :/

Not to mini mod here, but oh wait, I'm mini-moderating. ' Hypnotic, it really isn't very fair to keep all the entries as your own without payment for them. From experience in a previous contest I was in a few months ago, the user tried to do that and the moderators informed me (And ultimately the contest holder) that the contest holder could only keep the ones they paid for, not the others. I am not naming names, but it is why I only accept fursona contests by invite now.

Think of it this way. I don't know if you draw or use the oekaki or not, I haven't looked, but if, just if you had drawn the art, and it didn't win anything, and you didn't get paid for it in any way, would you yourself... taking a step back and being honest... would you really want the contest holder to just take that art from you for free? I know for certain I would not want that to happen and it has almost happened to me, but again, the moderators stepped in and said I could keep my art.

I hope this helps in this dispute. I know I disagree with you on this point, but if I hadn't won, I would not have wanted you to keep my art and that's for certain. Artists do not want to give their art away for free.

I hope you understand and again, I thank you so much for the contest win and the prize.

Thanks for your input Equid, everything is acceptable. Honestly, I've done contests with similar rules apparent to mine, and I had absolutely no problem. I'm not exactly sure I deem this fair though, just because early on I stated that they are MINE unless I give an okay. I do see your POVs, but you must view from myself's too.

Wolves - Oh dear, I just noticed that you didn't place. >.< How silly of myself. Hm..

Also, if you take back your entries, why shouldn't everyone else who didn't win? Especially those whos I liked but just didn't meet the expectations I was neccesarily looking for? That's not entirely fair to myself now either is it? I can't give any BILLIONS of prizes. It doesn't make a contest a contest.

I don't find it fair to claim people's hard work as your own. And if they put the effort into it I don't see why they couldn't keep it if they wanted it back.

Okay, if I REALLY wanted entries, and someone just revoked them without my consent, just because they didn't win anything, how fair is that to myself? I mean if you entered the contest knowing the entries all were to be mine, and now you want them back, why did you enter? It doesn't really make sense to me. Just because you made them, doesn't mean you don't have to abide by the laws. I'm sure if I let one person take back their entries, most people will too, and I will only be left with a select few. Not too great on my side now is it?
