I guess so. x3 But I don't want them because of the two-for-the-price-of-one deal, I just like them and have been dying for sibling goeys. And I love how they look. x)

Goennec Pen #: 4
Name: Stravera/Stargazer and Mivria/Milky Way
How would you use him/her: Art, possibly writing, and probably RPing in the goennec RP. They and their story would be on my character thread.
Define your Goennecs: Okay, quick note. :3 This is written in both poetry and prose. The poetry is the parts where the writing is in italics. In case you couldn't tell. xD

The sisters were very close, best friends. Stravera was a reasonable goennec. She didn't like to take risks much, but she loved socializing. Mivria wasn't exactly her twin's opposite, but she liked adventure more, and had only a small group of friends. But both of them loved the night. Some goennecs teased them, saying it was because it matched their solid pitch-black coats. That was not it, though.

Two sisters,
Simply fond
Of the deepness
Of the night.

It was their favorite time of day, even if it was not really day at all. . They often walked into the alone, together, or with friends, although some of their friends would rather be doing something else than walking along doing nothing.

Stravera and Mivria were walking through the night, as was usual. It was a beautiful, clear night.

You could almost see
The stars move
Across the sky
That night.

Suddenly, there was a movement in the sky.

"A falling star!" cried Stravera watching excitedly.

"More like twenty falling stars," said Mivria in wonderment.

For indeed,
It seemed that
A whole
Part of
The night sky
Was falling.

In fact, it looked like it was falling straight for twin goennecs. Soon, though, the realization came that it wasn't an illusion. Something crashed to the ground in front of them. Stravera and Mivria jumped back in alarm from the cloud of dust in front of them. The dust cleared and there, on the ground, was a goennec, black with glowing spots on it. The goennec appeared to be unconscious.

"Is he dead?" asked Stravera, half worried, half curious.

"I don't know," answered Mivria. "But I'm going to find out."

"I don't think that a good idea..." said Stravera, but her sister continued towards the goennec. Mivria carefully stretched out a hoof and gave the goennec on the ground a tentative poke. A moment later he raised his head in a dazed sort of way.

"Mmm?" he said.

"Are you all right?" asked Stravera, still standing a little away from the odd goennec.

"I'm free?" asked the stranger in disbelief.

"I'm free?
Is it true?
Am I really,
Truly,
Finally,
Free?"

"What?" asked Mivria, cocking her head at it. He gave a laugh and jumped up, apparently unhurt.

"Free, free!" he sung. He shook himself, and swirling blackness came from his coat, revealing a blotchy blue one, still sprinkled with glowing dots. The sisters stared in confusion and fear. The flowing blackness seemed to live, and it came towards Mivria who stumbled back from it. Nevertheless, it wrapped itself around her already-black coat.

"Free, free, free, free, free, free!" continued the strange goennec. He gave another shake and this time the glowing spots flew off.

Into the air
They flew,
Like fireflies
Dancing,
Swirling,
Multiplying...

The glowing dots landed on Mivria also, her back speckled with the dots. She frantically tried to get rid of them, but they were part of her coat. A few of dots also settled on Stravera, dotting her coat.

The other goennec laughed again.

He ran,
With a leap
And a bound
Never to be seen
Around those parts
Again.

Mivria,
Like a reverse comet,
Flew from earth,
Into
The darkness of
The night.

Stravera stared in horror as her sister disappeared.
"Mivria?" she called out. "Mivria! MIVRIA!" She stumbled around in a panicked way. There was just no way that could've happened. But it had.

Mivria's mind swirled. What was happening?

"Unghh..." she groaned, trying to make sense of it.

"Oh, look, the new goennec is here!" said a voice from somewhere to her right. Mivria turned her head. Or attempted to. She couldn't seem to move.

"What's going on she?" she called, frightened. All around her was darkness, with pinpricks of light in it.

"What do you think is happening?" called another voice, a hint of a laugh behind it.

"This is the
Sky
We are
the stars."

"What?" asked Mivria.

"That's right!" called another, perkier voice. "You are a section of the sky right now, and will be for the next five years!"

"This for five years!?" said Mivria. "And...the sky?"

"Is it really that hard?" yelled a gruff voice.

"Be quiet, Apis," called another voice. "It's not like you weren't confused at first."

"So, what's your name, hun?" asked still yet another voice.

"Mi--" Mivria began, sorting out the situation in her head. She was interrupted by the perky voice.

"She has so many stars on her! More than I've seen before. Let's call her the Milky Way!"

So,
Thenceforth,
That swatch of stars
And the goennec
It belonged
To
Were called the
Milky Way.

Meanwhile, Stravera returned to the other goennecs.

Coat shining,
Babbling nonsense,
They wondered--
Was she crazy?

Stravera tried to explain what had happened to the others, but anyone she told would quickly make excuses and leave her. So she stayed by herself, watching the sky all night, keeping an eye on the stars that were her sister. She may actually have gone a bit crazy during that time. Because of her star-watching habit, the others began to call her the Stargazer and, eventually, just Stargazer.

While Milky Way circled the sky, she got to know the other goennecs. One night another called Lochium Funis called out, "Milky Way?"

"Yes?" she answered.

"Well, soon it'll have been five years for me," said Lochium.

"Really? I still have two more."

"When you com back, come and find me, okay?"

"Really?"

"Yes--"

Lochium was interrupted by the others' teasing, but Milky Way told him the location of where she lived, and would go back to.

And
The next week,
Lochium was
Gone...

For two years, Milky Way remained. Then, one night.

A rush,
And a whoosh
A cloud of dust
Around
Her
And she was
Back where it
All
*started*

Milky Way stood up in precisely the spot she had disappeared. Carefully, she stood up, careful not to shake. She did not wish to leave someone else in the same situation she had been in. Instead, she hurried as smoothly as possible to where she had lived over five years ago. As she went, she nearly ran into her sister, who, like always, had been watching the sky and had seen MIlky way fall.

"Mivria!" she cried, seeing her sister.

Milky Way was bewildered for a second, before recognizing her old name.

"Stravera!" she replied, overjoyed to see her sister. "Actually, though, I'm called Milky Way now."

"And, actually, I'm called Stargazer now," Stargazer said.

"Well,"
Said the other.
"I guess we
Have both
Changed."

The sisters sat for a few seconds, content just to be home together again. Then, they heard the sudden noise of hooves and paws on the grass. The sisters stood up, a bit worried at who it could be at this time of night. A goennec they didn't recognize emerged from the night.

"Who are you?" asked Milky Way.

"It's me!" said the goennec. "Lochium."

"Lochium?" asked Stargazer, glancing at her sister.

"Lochium!" said Milky Way, jumping towards him. "You look different."

"And you don't," he replied, smiling. "Don't you know you have to get rid of the stars or else they become permanent?"

"Yes, but I don't want to put someone else in the same position as me."

"But there will be a blank patch in the sky. And was it really so horrible up there?"

"It doesn't matter. And not so bad, since I met you."

They grinned, and introductions were made between Lochium and Stargazer.

The three goennecs
Sat close in the dark,
And watched
The blank
Spot
In the sky
Until morning came.

Note: Both Apis and Lochium Funis are the names of former constellations.
