Pai (pronounced pi or pie) is an easygoing gal who just goes with the flow {like her hair!}. She makes friends easily and helps people work out arguments because she has a different aspect of how things work. Her mind is more complex than many of her species, and because of this gift, she has become a leader amongst her herd.
Background/History [of pet]: Pai was born on a riverbank on the Bayou. Her mother and father had lost their way in the woods, and had become stranded on a small island after a flash-flood. After the waters died down, the new family found a land bridge to the other side of the river. Their herd had given up hope of ever finding them, after they spent weeks searching the seemingly endless, humid woods. So, Pai's family traveled to the mountains, in hope of finding another herd to join. When they reached the foothills of the Appellation Mountains, neighing and whinnying could be heard from the valleys on the other side of the hills. In fact, there wasn't just a small herd, there were many herds, gathering at the lake and resting in the grass. Pai's family was so overjoyed, that they decided that this would be the perfect place to raise their newborn daughter, and make a new home.
Use [for pet]: As one of my characters, Pai would get her very own place in my character page (haven't started it yet -.-) and lots of art.

Sax wears a large, thick necklace made of thin, strong leather. It fits around his neck fully, as if he was wearing a running martingale. It doesn't go between the forelegs, though, it is just the neck-part.
The leather is dark brown and fits tightly, not choking him but not wave or swing when he's walking.
At the central part of the necklace, the underside of his neck, a red rose is attached. This is a real rose, and goes and comes with the seasons, but never withers. The colour of the rose shows the current season. In the summer, it is bright red, in spring yellow-green, in fall dark brown and in winter white.

I chose this name because not only is the name itself nice, but the meaning is beautiful. And it ties in with her snow-theme I've given her.

Background/History:
I have always had good senses. Hide a treat from me, I'd find it in an instant. Because of this, I feel like I'd been destined for this job.
I spent a good deal of time living in Florida, from birth until I was one year old. I wasn't an easy dog to handle; I seemed to have limitless energy and I'd always get into things my owners would hide. I guess one day my owners were online and found a program that would take in dogs and train them for rescue. So, deciding I'd be a good fit for this program, they sent me off to a different state where I'd eventually be taken to a training base in Alaska.

How I'll use her | Why I want her:
Has she been in the kennles long? I'm not sure I've noticed her if she as. All I know is while scrolling through this round's kennles, a certain dog made me stop in my tracks...
This beautiful girl will be used as my character. I'll be continuing her story, making it much, much longer. Plenty of art will be ordered for her, from here, DA and other places, she'll be on my character website as the homepage character+have her own spot, and she'll be in my signature all throughout winter. I'll be designing a jacket and tail after her design to wear. It'll be very cute, I'm sure. You can see the sketches under the 'art' section. And although not many uses besides the typical character things come to mind, I'm sure over the time I own her, (and never give her away!) I'll find plenty of fun ways to use her. ||
Not often do I find an animal-like character I want. I'm more into humans and anthros. But, once in a while, I do find one I love. Shiya here is one of them. She's absolutely beautiful. I love the colour scheme they chose for her. Blue, gray and white are one of my all-time favorite combinations. One of the biggest reasons I love her is because she reminds me of winter, my favorite season. If I were to win her, I'd love and cherish her forever.

Appearance
Shiya's a good size for her age. Her base coat color is a nice, pure white. Down her back to the tip of her tail, on her ears and the tip of her paws are a dark blue. This dark blue also makes up three circles on her tail, below her eyes and her lower side, two marks on her shoulder, and outlines on her eyes. A silvery gray color makes up two stripes on her tail, marks on her muzzle, a circle on her shoulder (outlined in blue,) on her legs, and a strange marking on her side. Her markings are the same on each side of her body. She's not extremely furry, she's more lean. Her eyes are an unnatural crystal blue.
