They are kind and smart. Willing to help anyone in need.. as long as they can swim that is. They hate being above water.. Who doesnt? Best friends with all animals, sharks don't even scare them!

Princess Perla swam around her kingdom. She truly did want to go above water today. She heard that they were having an After-Olympics celebration. "I could have easily won the swimming." she grumbled as she swam above the water.The first thing she saw was a rather snobby looking lion. "Who are you?" she asked suddenly, making the lion jump. "I-I'm Anderson Brigby James Clarkson the third of course! I won the running in the Olympics. Now who are you?" he peered down at her like she wasn't worth his time. "I'm Princess Perla of the merlions.."
