Cinder got up and limped towards the lake, checking that Vern was following. When he arrived, the dusk moonlight glinted on the lake and he layed down. He layed his head down and breathedi n the sweet aroma of flowers growing around the lake.

Vern layed down next to him. 'Err.. Sorry 'bout today, Cinder.' Vern barked softly.

[Xelinator]

Cinder shook his head. "Not your fualt." he murmured gently, nosing through the flowers. He pulled back and his mouth was full of flowers, stems pulled off. He gently threw them into the lake. They made ripples then flowed about the lake. He threw some red roses in the lake followed by some puffy purple-white ones. He picked up a rose with the stem on and turned to Vern. "Try this." he abrked, and placed it behind her ear. He smiled. "It always looks nice on vixens." he chuckled lightly.

Vern saw him put a flower behind her ear and see blushed. 'Thank you.' Vern softy woofed.

Cinder smiled gently, and layed his head on his paws. "Let's rest."

Vern nodded and layed down next to him and smiled as she tightly shut her eyes.

Cinder lay awake a few moments, admiring the stelly-black sky tinegd with stars and fireflies, before drifting asleep next to Vern.

Vern yawned and layed down next to Cinder also drifting away to sleep.

Blaze saw both of them together and sighed. He padded away into the forest.

Rosalie watced Blaze head off. "One moment." she said, running away from the rabbit. "Blaze!" she called, following him into the forest.

Cinder tucked his paws in and flattened his ears, blocking out the sound of the rushing lake water. But it seemed to get louder and louder. He sat up. "Vern..." he murmured cuatiously, staring at the lake.
