I would like to adopt!
Number: 5
Picture:
Image
Name: Savvi
Species: Corgi (but can I change it to hyena?)
Personality: Very active. A ladies man.
Likes: Birds, Flying, Ladies
Dislikes: Being alone.
Background: Savvi doesn't have a sad or even a very interesting background. He was born the third pup to a female in an unnamed pack of hyenas. When he grew of age, Savvi left his savannah home in search for adventure.
Savvi padded along the plains. They seemed endless, sprinkled with only a few trees everywhere. Suddenly, he turned from hearing a screeching noise coming from a pile of rocks. Darting over to the heap, he saw that a young dove had hurt it's wing. It was instinct to devour the bird, but pity moved Savvi. He sat there with the dove and brought it food and water till it was nursed back to health. This was only a matter of a few days, oddly. After the fifth day, a brilliant light appeared in the middle of the night. The bird was illuminating brightly. Savvi looked up, and backed away a few steps. The bird spoke.
"You have helped me, thank you. I am the dove of purity and I will bestow my gift upon you."
The light shone furiously, so bright it blinded Savvi for a moment. Seemingly the next, it was morning. He felt different in the morning, lighter. He turned his head, and wings! Wings had grown on his back. Truly it was a gift from the dove of purity.
To this day, Savvi never harms and birds, and only hunts the other animals.

If you've been blocked, it's most likely because you have an anti-hoard trade rule! It's nothing personal, but I do trade a lot and if I come across those with that rule, it's to prevent myself from accidentally trading with you! I do support your opinion on how the site can be played, so it's just so I don't bug you when I click random users to trade with!

I would like to adopt!

Number: 5

Picture: Image

Name: Jacques

Species: Corgi

Personality: Friendly and lovable, always able to make you happy.

Likes: French food, kind people, a warm home.

Dislikes: The cold, dog biscuits.

Background: He was born in a rich lady's home in Paris, where he grew up. His owner was silly, and made him a pair of fake wings, which he hated. Everyone teased him, and every night, he wished that his wings might become real. He would awake each morning, saddened that his wish was not granted. One day, he was out walking, when he saw a golden sparrow tangled in some wires, with a starving dog rushing at it. Jacques freed the bird, before being dragged back home by his owner, and thrown into his room. That night, as he drifted off to sleep, a golden sparrow flew to the windowsill, seeming to glow in the moonlight. It chirped at Jacques, before leaving once more. Jacques awoke, shocked to see a pair of white-silver wings in the place of his fake brown ones. He flew out the window, hoping to find a new owner, to replace the one he hated.

A picture you drew: I may add one later, but I don't know... I'm pretty rubbish at drawing...

I would like to adopt!
Number: #6
Picture: Image
Name: Kelani
Species: Snow leopard
Personality: Well, Kelani can be a bit tempermental when it comes to certain things, but, among fights, she is usually the peacemaker within all. Although, she prefers to stay out late and sleep for some time during the day. She trusts the human population, unlike most of her species, since, she has had contact with them. Kelani loves listening to music, and has leaned to keep in time to it.

Dislikes:
Background (Optional, but it gives you a better shot. 2500 words maximum, 100 words minimum. We value quality over quantity, you can have five pages and still say absolutely nothing.)
A picture you drew: OPTIONAL! This will only get you extra credit. You still have to write the rest of the form. COLORED IN LINEART IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. IT HAS TO BE ART YOU DREW FROM SCRATCH.
EDITING, obviously...

Some terrific art this round!
WORK IN PROGRESS.

I would like to adopt!
Number: #6
Picture: Image
Name: Kelani
Species: Snow leopard
Personality: Kelani is kind hearted and tries to be positive at all times. She enjoys life to the full at most times although she occasionally wonders what she is for and why she is in this earth. When faced with a challenge she considers her chances and only accepts if she knows it should be safe. When faced with danger she tries to keep calm and find a better way around things.
Likes: Music, snow and spending time alone
Dislikes:Dark confined spaces, complete silence and sharp objects.
Background:
I do not remember much of the start of my life. My mind was too gripped by fear to bother keeping many details about my beginning. But now I will tell you all I can remember up to this day.
~
I was born on a starless night into the middle of a crule, unforgiving snwo storm. My mother istantly tucked me close. I could feel her soft fur press into my face and the warmth of her breath keep my frail frame from freezing.
~
After the storm was over my mother had no choice but to get me out of the snow or I would get a nasty cold. Up until today I had never realised, I think I may have had a sibling! Now I will tell you why....
Mother whispered in my ear to stay very still. Of course I listened to her, at this young age a did not think about choices. I wimpered at first, as I felt her warmth depart. Another tiny sound was made in reply, I did not know or care what made the sound and I soon fell asleep.
~
My eyes shot open. I was swaying from side to side, my scruff lovingly held inbetween my mothers teeth. I lazily lifted my head up a little and tried to scent. I was happy, possibly the happiest I had ever been in my short little life. I started to make a small humming sound, my first ever tune. I swung back and hit into my mothers chest as she began climbing a slope. When we got to the top I felt time stop and the air grow still. Suddenly I felt pain and a chilling dampness. At this moment I heard her wail, loud and clear, full of pain. "NO! MY POOR LITTLE ONE!" I had heard little one before but did not understand it. Now I know this was my mother crying, probably for a sibling who had just died.
~
The first impression I got of my father when we were finally home was that he was mean, selfish and generally unbearable. As the weeks ticked by I foud my first impression to be more and more true. He was cruel right down to his bones. Always shouting at my mother for being "so foolish" always shouting at me for "not learning fast enough" I could not bear to live with him, I wanted him gone.
~
One foggy morning I was sitting outside with my family, taking in new scents. There was an ominous feeling in the air and I wanted to run, back to the safety of my den. I picked up a faint sound in the distance. What was it? I had no idea, but now I know it was humans. My father did not hear them and when I begged him to retreat he simply replied "foolish child, let me have some peace. Nothing should be too dangerous!" He was wrong, in moments he heard them as well but it was too late. I saw his spirit swirling away in the mist. I felt empty and rather sad.
~
My mother and I moved dens the next week. "No use staying near danger" she said sadly. I could not agree more and so I grabbed my belongings and helped carry our bedding to our new den.
~
After sevral weeks in the new den my mother became very lonely and would wail pittyfully until I came home from my exploring. One day I woke up to see her with some form of tears in her eyes. I offered to stay at our den with her. This was a good choice as she instantly perked up and begged me to stay. From then on we would go hunting in the mornings and stay in our den, sleeping or singing for the rest of the day.
~
This is the part of my life I remember the most. I was drowned in grief and almost starved.
On this day my mother had chosen to go hunting at night instead of in the morning. I came with no complaint. As we were walking along I looked at my mother carefully. Something was different, she had a strange hue about her. I did not think much of it at first and we soon spotted some prey.
~
Dragging our prey back she suddenly stopped and made a strange noise. Mother buried her muzzle in her shoulder fur, when she pulled her face up I was shocked. Mothers muzzle was stained a cruel, unforgiving red. I begged her to tell me what was wrong and to have a rest but she simply refused, insisting it way off our prey. I could tell it was not.
~
The next morning I woke up bright and cheerful. I hopped out of our den to go see if mother was waiting outside for me. "MOTHER?" I called, hoping she would come bounding up. Then I saw her, so still she could have been frozen. She was tensed up as if she had been coughing her lungs out. I looked down at my paws then yelped. I was standing in soaking wet, red snow. My heart shattered into millions of tiny fragments. I slpet in the snow next to her for a whole day, crying, moaning and wishing it was a dream.
~
Finally I knew I should leave. I padded back to my den to gather my possesions. I was scared and my den suddenly felt tiny, like there was no room to breathe. As I walked over to my nest I realised a little shine in the center of my mothers den. I eagerly pulled aside her bedding to see what it was. As the shine got uncovered my eyes widened. It was a little charm bracelet with a single charm, I believe it is something to do with music. I slipped it onto my right hind leg. It was a perfect fit and from that day for I have held my head high and kept a cheery tune on the tip of my tounge, ready to let it out. I don't let my past shadow me. Sometimes I have my doubts but for my mother I keep the sound of life, music, with me where ever I go.

A picture you drew: Working on it. I'm no real artist but I will have a shot! If I don't win I might give the art as fanart to the winner ;)

I would like to adopt!

Name: Rani
Species: Corgi
Personality: Rani is some what over-active, bouncy and crazy. He is brave and bold, accepting any challenge, which at times can be a bad thing. He cannot sit still and if he is forced to sit still he is daydreaming in seconds.
Likes: Winning, white, games, challenges and mysterious things.
Dislikes: Sitting still, rules, order, being beaten and stronger beings
Background:
Rani was born in the middle of a summers day. He was born in a stable stuffed with fresh straw. Rani was one of three pups. He had a sister named Shay and brother names Ritzo.
Rani despised his mothers lectures on manners and behaviour. He would always run away, shouting challenges over his shoulder or poking out his tounge as he went.

He thought of Shay as a boring sister. "Not tough enough" was his summary of her as he watched her sit in her favourite spot under a blossom tree.

Rani liked to play-fight with his brother Ritzo. He liked Ritzo alot because despite being the youngest and smallest of his litter he could win against Ritzo. When ever Rani lost he would ask for a rematch and when his brother refused he would stomp off, insisting his brother was a cheater.

One day a lady, a boy and a little girl came to the farm where Rani lived. Rani was confused at first but then his mother told him "They are going to adopt two of you, one of you will be staying here with me though. Then she liked the white fur on his head so it stuck up. Rani wagged his tail eagerly but the boy wrinkled his nose in discust. Rani growled angrily. "Mommy! its growling!" the little girl squeaked in a high pitched voice. The lady bent down and patted Rani softly. Then she stood up. To Rani she looked like a giant garden steak, tall and thin with a pale grey face. After a few hours the little girl grabbed up Shay. The boy, who Rani now reffered to as horrible, picked up Ritzo and dashed off towards the farm house. After a while they came back out and got in a giant, shining silver car. Rani growled as the car sped off, flicking dust up into a cloud behind it. "I'm glad horrible didn't get me!" he barked angrily.

Without his brother and sister Rani got bored to death. He told his mother he was leaving home. This deeply saddened her, he was the only child she had left.

Three years of wandering around as a stray and Rani had forgotten he had a sister or brother. He often played alone in small alley ways with little light coming over the looming buildings that stood on either side. Barking furiously and kicking a can he came across a rusty old dumpster. Whats that semll? its so familiar! Rani knew the smell he was smelling. At this time he remembered his nest at the farm where he once lived.

The next day saw him plodding off, determined to find his mother. "This is going to be great! Ive had my fun, mother will love to see me back! When he got back his mother was nowhere to be found. Rani started sniffing around, trying to catch her scent. Heading back towards the road he saw a small figure, probably hers. The stench of exhaust fumes filled his mouth. OH NO! The thoughts raged inside him.

A sudden realisation hit, she was not dead but was about to be! "MUM! look out!" Rani barked frantically, jumping over a pushing her out of the cars way. It was enough to save her. His mother, Kera turned back in horror to hear her son, who she had not seen in three years spluttering out "I love you mum!" Rani turned around to see Shay beside him. "Brother, come with me." she whispered. As Rani ran he felt a prickling feeling. He turned around to see tiny wings forming just above his shoulders. "Your not...?" he trailed off. "Yes we are dead" Shay replied quietly. Rani knew none of this mattered, he could still run and fight, he would become the best.

Hrm.... some tough competition I see! Good luck to everyone!
