History:
It was 1911 Welsh was born, into fame, his mother a famous actor from many movies and his father an award winning Crufts contestant. He was Hollywood's golden dog, he was sassy, lippy and new all the correct things to do once under the spot light. He was in nearly every movie and a lovable character. He was every rich city girl's dream to own, news had spread quickly, when stop motion was new to New Austin, he was the first on screen, inspiring a band of highly known and feared bandits, steal the dog, hold it ransom and make money.
They did exactly so too, Welsh was on a trip to the wild west, and while his attendant in a big town saloon was off been "entertained" by the showgirls, the gang stuck. The dog was swiped from his crimson red couch in an instant, he had fought hard put when someone had their silver, steal peace maker pointed between your small and glazed husky blue eyes you would think the fight was over. And so it was, Welsh let them take him off and be held hostage up in a forest, surprisingly the dog was announced dead and replaced without a single search party, thats Hollywood for you. Having no actually use for the dog now, the gang though of ways to "dispose of him" and decided that starving him to death was the cheapest option, if it weren't for the constant howling. The men grew tired of the dogs barking, so during the dead of night rode to New Austin's biggest town, Armadillo, and ditched him there, leaving him for dead or to learn the way of the street dog, which was simple really, avoid the galloping horses coming through and eat whatever the drunks coming out the saloon drop.
Well he would to have learned that if it weren't for the well known show girl, "Madame Belle" a Mexican immigrant, known all over the land for her work at Armadillo Saloon, she found the frightened and alone pup, bringing him to her room in the saloon, there she nursed him back to health and saw his sass coming back through as he slowly crawled back out of his shell. Coming up with a way to entertain the day time workers, Madame Belle went to the tailors and had a custom made bow and top hat made to fit the young dog, and boy did her idea work! People coming from even Mexico to see the first ever "show dog!" he became famous and his previous owners, despite learning he was still in fact living and breathing, decided not to come back for him.

Sassy and quite a character, he is a devoted and loyal creature, born for the spotlight and the success. he is well mannered and patient, always waiting for his moment.
