There are also Whip Tail Dragons. WTD. same there to.
These guys have jewels on there forehead and their tails. They also have wings and are smaller than JBD's.

They look pretty darn alike to me... even the lettering in the front. And the Jelly Bean Dragons, or JBD, and the Jewl Mane Dragons or JMD, are almost the same in the way they are named.

Am I the only one who see's this?

I myself don't see any similarities... Jelly bean dragons don't look quite as thin as the jewl mane dragons do. And then the Jewl mane dragons have a 'jeweled' tail and a jewel on their foreheads from where I assume they got their names. But, however, The Jelly Bean Dragons have more of a fluffy tail, and no sort of jewel on their coats. Another thing, is the Jelly Bean Dragons' snout and how it looks. From what I can see of the Jewl Mane dragons, they don't have that sort of zig zaggy look to it. maybe, if we just wait for lumpinbanana to finish up her description on the species, we can see the many differences in them. c: Though, we may have to ask for clarification from both lumpinbanana and Hiccup on this. After all, it's just my opinion. Though, we shouldn't have this turn into a big argument, it can be solved easily if we just wait. And the fact that I'm sure many people would not like this thread to get locked. ^-^

All I see are two different dragon breeds.

"JMD" is just the shortening the name to make it easier.
A lot of other adopts do the same thing with there long named breeds.

And the JMDs have a jewel-like body part on their face and tail. And they have wings.
Personality, I think JMD's heads are smaller on their bodies compared to JBDs.

And to be honest, the only real thing that makes JBDs different from other dragons is the fact they are a simple looking breed, but you can get them in such varieties. Not what their bodies look like.

It's very easy to make a dragon breed and have it looking somewhat the same to a JBD. o3o;
I'm pretty sure the creator of the jewel mane dragons didn't intend for this to happen. owo

wow these rilly do look like jbd's sorry im not trying to be rude or mean but they rilly do and i know that because iv done drawings for people who have jbd's on da and fa for them to use and if you add wings to jbd's they will look the same i also know this becuse i made species of my own and i had people change or add 1-3 thing and name it something similar/different to them and then i got blamed for copying them so ya and like rilly jewl mane dragons that in short comes to Jmd's compared to jelly bean dragons witch it Jbd's

The only similarity I see are these two.
1. They are both dragons
2. They have close to the same lettering.

Wow O.O Hey sorry guys I'm not copying or anything. I just was doodling lions and playing skyrim. Then I was like: Lion = Mane Skyrim= Dragons Jewl =cool Jewl Mane Dragon! There not even in the same pose... ANd actullay their alot bigger than JBDs. And the only fluffy part is thier mane and tail. No worries about everyone sounding rude. I can change the lettering. I just liked it :<

Or what the lettering has anything to do with the species. >.>
As far as I can see, they both are dragons, have a tail, nose, and feet. (Not trying to be rude, but it's true.)

Oooookay so let's just end that convorsation by saying I made a dragon, so did hiccup, and many other people.
