How many days a week do you usually visit CS? At least once every day. Only when I am very busy, or on vacation or somewhere else, I am not online, though I will have mobile internet within a few weeks.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Two to three hours.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I have been helping lower-class kids at our school, past year. Not sure if I want to do this again this year, but I have some experience with steering people in the right direction.
I also speak Dutch and a few words German and French.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? Because it's a great honour to help such a good website as Chicken Smoothie. It would be awesome if the people around here understood the way how Chicken Smoothie works, so that the time they spend here is more fun, because they do not have questions about how this works and what that is used for. That would definately make Chicken Smoothie a lot easier to understand and to work with.

Every day during the school year, which is the majority of the year.

It can be 10 or more most days.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
I can speak and write Spanish quite well, though I don't consider myself fluent. I already tend to answer questions in the Suggestions and Problems board, and have been complemented on my accurate answers; I'm also quite helpful in many boards, and in the many threads I either co-own, own, or am on staff with.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
From a young age, I've been the helpful one in class. In first grade, I'd finish my classwork at top speed, then offer my help to my classmates who struggled with the assignment, as long as I got the teacher's permission. I was more than happy to help, and I had proven myself to be patient and understanding... As well as painfully, unrelentingly kind. And it's not just my peers that have sought out my guidance; I've helped people far younger than myself, as well as someone well into his fifties, working toward his GED.
My helpfulness does not extend just into academics, though. I have been approached by a great many who just need someone to talk to - someone to listen to their troubles. I never complained, not even when the content was quite inappropriate for my age, such as the woman who described her romantic affair to me, when I was ten. People seem to think I would have done well as a therapist of some sort.
As for my helpfulness on CS... When I'm on and bored - which happens often - I have this habit of stalking the CS Help, General Chat and CS Chat board, searching for people I can help and questions I can answer. My quests have proven to be quite fruitful; I've helped lot of people, and I've recieved compliments from staff on how trustworthy my answers always are. Being a General Helper just seems to be the next step in making myself more helpful and useful.

I am usually on from around 8:00 am to 10:00pm give or take when i wake up but since school starts in 2 weeks i will be on from 6:00am to 7:30 am and 4:00 pm to 9:00pm once school starts, weekends will be like things are now
5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?)I know the majority of Oekaki tools/options.I know a few words in japanese from watching anime and reading manga but it is just some very simple words.I am very good people on CS and don't often get angry,in fact i don't think i ever have on CS in a way that would upset others.I have a very large vocabulary and I enjoy helping others
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? I want to help the people of CS.ChickenSmoothie has been a very big part of my life for a long time.I want to help make sure it stays a well loved website by offering any services I am capable of.

Note: I have one warning for art theft from around 2 or 3 months ago.It happened because I had forgot to give credit to the artist do to being in a hurry to get the form done.Since the warning i have not used any art save for art that i have rights to use such as art i got from artshops on CS or art i have made myself.

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Everyday, Monday-Sunday.
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 2-3 Hours a day .Once I get homework I will go on right after I'm done.
5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) I know how to work trade settings,account settings,and oekaki. I encourage newbies to pm' me if they have any questions. I know how to trade and had to deal with some users at times trading, others with oekaki.I'm very good at communicating with people,and helping them in situations others might avoid. Last year I took a class about communicating people and this year,is on the second portion of that class.
   
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I would like to be a General Helper so I can be more helpful, let every user know staff is more then happy to help. I like to help other users, I know alot about the fourms. I'm a very patient person,and have to deal with questions everyday from my younger sister.When school starts my friends come to me for help and advice. Most new users don't come to me, I realize don't come to me for help. ☆ I am on CS seven days of the week. The only time that I will miss a day is if I am on vacation, and even then I will make great attempts to visit everyday during my trips. I will always alert others when I will be out of town and never leave without making sure somebody knows of my absence. ☆

☆ I spend at least eight hours on CS. I know, I don't have much of a life... but CS is my life! :3 ☆
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required)
☆ Yes! I am fluent in German, and learning Spanish currently. My older sister is a guidance councilor, so I feel as though I do have some experience in helping others. I love to interact with people and commonly answer many PM's! I have used Oekaki many times, and definitely know every tool and area of it. I also role-play in a highly literate manner, so I have much experience interacting with others and settling drama on the forums. I would like to consider myself rather mature, as well! Also, I do trade many times and understand very well about the rules and fairness of every trade. ^^☆
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
☆ Goodness, here we go! I have always wanted to be a General Helper! In fact, I have looked up and scoured the forms looking for a way to become one. This, I feel, is the greatest opportunity to me. Helping others has always been one of my favorite things to do. I tutor and babysit, so helping out others is something that I have experience with and rather enjoy! I love interacting with others, for I am a very social person, and I like to believe that I can keep an even head in a tough situation. CS is, in fact, my life. It is the only stable thing that I can come to in my crazy life, and being able to help anybody - even if it is a little skirmish over the rules - on this site to have a smoother day would make me feel absolutely amazing. As I have said, everything that I do revolves around this site. It is so beautiful and so amazing that I would feel so completely honored to be named a General Helper, even if it doesn't mean that I am apart of the staff. It still makes me feel as though I am smoothing things up for the rest of CS. Also, even when school starts, I spend the majority of my time on this site, going through the threads and talking to my friends. I am very kind and welcoming, and love helping out others when they are confused. I know the rules very well- actually, being the no-lifer that I am, I have read every single one many of times. I love RPing, trading and Oekaki, so I believe that I know my way around most of the site. This site is my favorite place to be. I have stayed loyal and plan on staying here for many years to come. I joined this wonderful site on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 at exactly 3:59 pm. In a few days it will be a full year.

How many posts have you made in the forum?

4,322 posts. That will probably change in a few minutes.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

Everyday, if I am not on that means I have no internet access, which happens about once a year.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

If I don't have plans I spend the whole day here, with some short breaks to eat and exercise. On work and school days I spend a minimum of 3 hours on the site, usually more but it depends on my schedule and studies.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

I don't speak any other languages, but I have talked to people who do on here using a translator. I am good with trade values, but I am still learning the main list pets from the rares list guide. I welcomed lots of new members a few months ago, and gave them a few free things. I enjoyed it, and I think I will start doing it again whether I get the job or not. I am pretty good with oekaki, I may not be the best artist but I know how the system works. Any question I know the answer to I will answer, but if I don't know it I leave the job to somebody who does. If I was a helper I would find the answer if I could. I have brought many members to CS, like my sister, cousin, a few of my cousin's and sister's friends, and more. I like to spread the word of CS and get new members.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I love this website, in my opinion its the best out there. I like to help people, especially newer members. I am nice, but serious when I need to be. I have always tried to help moderators by reporting posts and other things, but what would help more then having the job of a helper? When I first joined the site there was a topic like this, I think it was for an a few oekaki moderators. I wanted to join, but I didn't, I wasn't fit for the job at the time. I just had to hope there would be another chance to help this site. I have almost been here for a year and now I have my chance. The timing is kinda funny, and good.

I tried not to write to much, you guys have so many forms to look at. I know you will find the perfect members for the job, you always do.

Honestly, I leave the computer on all day and am always logged in (unless on vacation), but I continuously hop on and off. I am on in any spare time I have. The time I am actively online -roleplaying, drawing, commenting/posting, ping, etc.- is probably around 3-6 hours. But I always hop on for a few minutes to check if I have any pms or if anyone needs help when I don't have much time.
~Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:~
I am extremely patient with all users, new or old, I am decent at using the Oekaki(just not drawing), and I'd say that I am very good at trading, pet values, etc. I am also very good at working through problems, formatting posts and signatures, and I know it may sound nerdy, but I now know all the rules by heart.
~Why do you want to be a General Helper?:~
Back when I joined Chicken Smoothie, I was lost and confused. I was continually scammed with trades that users said were 'fair' and I didn't know how to make posts at all. Then I clicked on 'Forum' and scrolled to the bottom. I contacted someone who's name was colored as a general helper. Almost as soon as I sent the pm, I got a very kind and informative response. They taught me how to make posts and join roleplays. Ever since then, I've wanted to become a General Helper with all my heart. I love helping people, no matter what the problem!

I joined last year on January 23, 2011 :D I even celebrated my first year on CS!

How many posts have you made in the forum:
5,465, I can hardly believe I've made so many! 5,266 if you induce this post, most of that is in the RP forums or adoptable oekaki of some sort, also quite a bit in Oekaki overall, but usually just from posting my own work.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Usually I'm on CS 6 or 7 days a week, but maybe... once every other month or so I have an irregular week where I'm just rushing around everywhere and don't have time to get on CS.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I don't even want to think about it! Hrm... on an average school day I'd say I spend maybe.. 3+ hours. On most weekends {It's like mini-summer!} I spend nearly all day on CS, but if I have something to do that day it's still around 6+ hours here.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I have a good understanding of Oekaki, say for instance, the difference between the pencil and pen tool, the pencil gives you a darker line since it's opacity bar is automatically set at the highest number, while pen is set in around the middle and you have to double up on your lines to get the same thickness, oh! And I know how to get your size back to 2. I know Hebrew, but I'm not so sure that's going to be much help! I have a decent understanding of trading, but I wouldn't exactly call myself an expert. With the new trading system I'm not sure I can be much help at all, though I'm starting to get a feel for it, and it certainly does make trading inside the same year a whole lot easier. Overall I've just got a really good understanding of how everything works around here.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I get along quite well with most people, and I'd love to be able to help others out and make them feel welcome around CS ^u^ When I first joined CS I picked up pretty quickly on most things, but I've seen how other people, including some of my RL friends, had trouble learning how to move around CS. Helping them learn their way around was fun for me, even if they no longer come on CS. I'd love to be able to help new players that way, and really just welcome them to CS~

Well, I've been on Chickensmoothie for almost 3 years now. I know a lot about the site and how to work it. Due to school, I know some Spanish. I also took a peer-mediation course for a little bit, and am quite good with helping resolve conflicts between people. I'm usually lurking on the forums though don't particularly post. I usually find myself on the introduction thread, and often introduce new members to the site. I am also on the oekaki forums a lot, and know how to work most of the tools within oekaki.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I want to be a general helper because I love Chickensmoothie. I've always loved helping people, and I feel that if I become a General Helper, that would be the perfect opportunity to do so. Though I'm not exactly up to date with trading, I still remember the basics and what is fair and unfair, and if I am unsure I always make sure to check the threads and get other opinions. I'm understanding and know how to handle a problem without bringing myself into it or making it bigger than it already is. I have such a love for this site, and always have a fun time on it, it would be great to be able to be part of the helping community.
