Welcome
As the title basically states, this is a competition where you create a mate for my new character, Sari.
My laptop is without a mouse, and I don't own a tablet, which is horrifying for me, considering how much I love computer art. So instead of making all of my characters myself, wasting multiple hours on something extremely basic and lacking quality, I thought it best be left up to the experts!
Rules
So this is where you guys come in.
You are to design a mate for my little girl, Sari, and if you wish, are able to make slight changes to her also. For example, fix up my swirls, (Please do! D:) Add stars, or a scarf. I really don't mind, as long as you keep her looking (basically) the same.
When you create her mate, I would like a small summary of his life, or love for Sari, and description. I always love reading biographies of characters, and I'd love to see another section of your creativity at work.
There is absolutely no limit for how many times you enter. If you have so many ideas flowing through your mind, don't cram them all onto one design, for it may make it look messy, and too busy, but why not create two or more?
You must be neat. No three second designs, or poor colouring. Like I said previously, I have neither a mouse nor tablet, though I still manage to stay within the lines.
You must leave the original artist's signature. This also means, that no matter how tempting, you are not to put your own signature on it. Yes, it sounds like a silly rule, though I have seen it happen before.
Don't be a sore loser. If you lose, no whining, or begging, or carrying on. When I choose a design, it isn't against anyone personally, but instead it is what intrigues me the most.
You must post when you enter a drawing. This is so that it keeps the forum bumped. If it isn't kept that way, I mightn't notice that you entered a picture, and may give the prizes away without even realizing your entry.
If I am unsatisfied with the entries, I am able to either change the prizes, or end the competition without a winner. If I do end it without a winner, I will not keep any of the designs, but instead the character that you created then becomes yours.
If you enter more then once, you can not win more then one prize. I may give you something extra, but you will not receive the full prize of a placing.
My word is law. Do not argue with me, or try to change my mind. I do not wish to fight with any body, so I believe that a good way to help prevent that is to add this rule.
I will always of criticism and advice on finished, or WIP drawings this is, unless you do not wish to hear my opinion.
In the description of your picture, I would like to see a list of the things that you added in your drawing, just so that I can get an idea for what you had thought of.
For who ever enters, I will give you two uncommons (unless you win). This means that in turn, I am able to keep the designs that you submit, whether you win or lose.
If you enter more than once, you will not receive two uncommons for each entry, but only one.
This rule may eventually be revised, but for now, this is how it goes.
