Yay, the little Marimo Ball got some love!

I ordered some more for my fish tank this week along with some shrimp to help balance it a bit more. <3
They're round balls of algae, also known as moss balls, that are a national treasure of Japan, they're considered good luck and are just fun little pets.

Hardly any!
They're like owning a cactus but more simple because you can't over water them. xD

I've seen a lot for sale on etsy, the most popular seem to be the nano marimo because they fit in tiny containers that you can put virtually anywhere. You just have to change their water occasionally and roll them around so that they keep their shape and color on all sides. You can also clean them when they get larger to keep them more healthy. My new ones are going to be giants because I'm hoping they'll sprout babies and they're going in a very large tank so I want them to stand out a little. :>
