I liked how the designs turned out on this one. Her gem is citrine, a gem colored in shades of orange and yellow. I tried to make the gems look like their sections were distinguished, which I also think worked well. The tail is basically a yellow and orange mosaic, the legs have a yellow middle toe and light yellow outer toes, the ears both feature a gem, as does the cheek, and on the back is a citrine pattern.

The gem based ones are really neat, though I think you are misunderstanding of the species. They just have the gem in their skulls that is based off a gem, not the actual coat. Don't get me wrong, you are showing great creativity as well as capabilities to create designs.

Thanks. The gem on the skull is citrine, but this is a gem-based fox. The coat is based off of citrine, but the gem on the fox's head is a non-orange citrine gem. The coat doesn't always match the gem, I know, but in this case the coat is based off of the head gem instead of the gem being based on the coat. (I did the gem first, then went on to the coat and other markings/details.) In short, the skull gem isn't based on the coat, but the coat is based off of the real life gem. That might clear the confusion up, but if its not understandable I'll try to describe it in another way.
