Status: FOR ADOPTION
Name: Shark
Age: 3
Gender: Stallion
Breed: Arabian
History: After being placed into a rodeo as a 'wild horse' he became lame in three of his feet and could hardly walk. The rodeo, uncaring, gave him hay and food as normal, far away from where he stood. In to much pain to walk over he became weak and skinny. He was deemed unable to preform his work and was sold to an action house, where he was soon to become victim of slaughter. A horse lover, knowing the slaughter house bidders, fell in love with this horse and believed he deserved a second chance. She outbid the slaughterers and brought him to us. He has since been healed, although still has some problems on his right front hoof that will go away with time and work. He has also put back all his weight and now needs a forever home.
Attitude: Shark is very grateful to people, and although he has been through a lot, puts his life in our hands. When he came in he was not skittish but instead begged for attention, love, and grooming. He thinks he is number one and loves playing with others. Even people.
Training: He is halter trained and stands well when tied or for the farrier. He is quick and spry but is not yet saddle trained and will need some work.
