I think what she means is if you have to draw the art yourself ^^;

Some contests require you to make art, some you can order it, some you can't. But there's all different sorts of contest like stories, names, pick a number, etc. It's all up to the artist what type of contest is being held.

Well, for tablets... Just any drawing tablet works. Any that works for you, it depends on the person. C: I prefer to buy new ones every few years. I, for one, use the Bamboo brand of tablets located here: Bamboo Tablets

How do you do it? You write on it with the stylus like pencil and paper, and the marks show up on the screen. Simple as that. C:
