She's not been online in a while so I really don't know when to expect her back. I've been debating this, I might be adding to my staff so that while one is busy with things (like life, haha) someone else might have time to fill in... or maybe specific staff to handle custom requests or breeding when that feature is implemented.

How much doese a simple design cost on a BD otter?

If you mean a custom it is currently 80 CA to buy a Golden Apple which will give you a custom colored pet.
If you mean just normal adoptable designs that are posted occassionally they will vary in price but they start at 20-30CA and go up depending on the personal attachment/time invested by the artist. ;]
