"Kay-kay, this is insane," Cadi objected. The pup shook his head in anger.
"I AM IN LOVE WITH HER AND YOU CAN'T STOP LOVE!" Kay-kay threw himself at the statue, sobbing obnoxiously. "YOU CAN'T TEAR APART TRUE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..."
Cadi sat there dumbly, waiting for her crewmate to stop.
"...OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE." The pup went limp, his nose buried deep into the sand statue's body. Feeling the need to get her friend out of this situation quickly, Cadi bent her head over near his ear. She never thought she would have to do this; Kay-kay was known about his crush on her. However, this was going to get her out of this mess.
"...Hey, hey Kay-kay..." She murmured, "How about I give you a kiss and we go home?"
"...Kiss?" Kay-kay lifted his head instinctively. "Kiiiiiiiss~?"
Cadi nodded, smiley gently. "On ze cheek."
"Well..." Kay-kay glanced at his statue. "Alright then! Pucker up." He lifted his cheek expectantly for the pirate to kiss. Cadi bent over--
--and kissed Kay-kay on the muzzle! She yelped in surprise and stepped back. "WHY YOU--"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Kay-kay shot off towards the ship, with his crush hard on his heels with a murderous glint in her gaze.


....Meanwhile, the sand statue sat there in silence, its eyeless gaze on the ship. It smirked in triumph suddenly, and shook its head, sending sprays of sand onto the...er, sand. And then it turned around and bounded for a sand castle that totally popped out of nowhere. Inside, there was a large bulk of a beast, lounging on what appeared to be a throne. It lifted its head to glance at the statue.
"Have you found a nymphet?"
"Yes your Highness! She dwells in the ship beyond!"
"Good!" The beast threw back his head to laugh. And then coughed heavily. "Go--assemble my troops to fetch me my queen! AND GET ME SOME RICOLA."
"RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA." chirped a random person.

"Diana, this is beyond your control!"

"Is it mother? Is this decision really not mine to make?"

"No, it's not. As princess, it is your job to do what's best for your people, not marry a prince that you 'love'."

"Well that's stupid! What's the point of marrying someone who you don't love, and who doesn't love you!" I turn and storm out of the throne room. Mother doesn't understand, she never does. I turn the hall once more, and throw open the door to my bedroom. The maid, Marylyn, is inside, finishing up on making my bed.

"Get out!" I cry, tears starting to well in my red eyes. Marylyn looks surprised. "Go on, get out!" I yell again, pure hurt and desire filling my voice so that it cracks. Marylyn nods once and leaves quickly and quietly, sympathy glowing in her eyes. I hear the heavy oak door seal behind me. That's when I fell apart. Sobbing, I threw myself onto the half-made bed and shouted my feelings for what seemed like generations.

You can't make me love Prince Alexander. I choke silently, I don't love him the way I love Dawson.

Dawson.

The man who fills my thoughts while I am awake, and who walks with me in dreams. Dawson lives far away, and it would take more money to get me to him again than it would for me to meet with Prince Alexander 5 times. It is the one time Dawson and I met though, that keeps me awake at night, and distracts me when I am supposed to be listening to lessons. He came here once, during a festival, but my parents turned him down as a suiter because he was not as handsom as Alexander. But Alexander is not as smart, or funny, or caring as Dawson...

Rolling over on my bed, I scoop up my jewelery box and open it up, staring at the ruby ring inside. The ring Dawson gave me before he left for his home. Plucking it out, I slip it on my paw the way I have a thousand times before. Only Dawson and I know about this ring, and I refuse to forget him.

I will find you, Dawson, I promise. Standing, I fill a bag with clothes and stolen foods from the kitchens. Turning to the window, I step out onto the ledge.

I can't stop thinking about her. Her gorgeous blue and white fur, and it has just a hint of this pale gold. I've never felt this way about a girl, and I think it's love. I sigh.

Father is furious though, he's all in a twist over the fact that her parents turned me down over my looks. 'Better to have intelligence and humor' he'd said 'than it is to be pretty.' I agree completely. But that's that I guess, mom was even advising AGAINST me attending the festival. She had said that all the common kind cared about was looks, and she'd even said Diana would turn me down because of my looks! But look what had happened, she'd wanted to be with me, but her parents had said no. I kicked the desk leg, hard. It snapped and the tabletop fell too. I bit back a yelp as it broke. I didn't know that I had that kind of strength.

I also didn't know there was a poster with a ship on it in the now-broken drawer.

Sitting and scooping it up, I read it.

'Crew mates wanted aboard the Dark Mermaid. All positions -excluding captain- available. Come to the pier by the 14th for sign-up.'

I eagerly read the list of destinations that the Dark Mermaid would be making passenger wise. My heart skipped a beat when I found that Diana's kingdom was a stop. Folding the paper, I shoved it in a coat pocket. It was official, I was going to go to Diana.

Prince Doyle stood before his mother ready to go and eat his first merdog. His mother looked hard at him not saying anything then move her tail and he turns and swims off his fangs dripping some. He stops infront of the merdog castle and licks his fangs before sneaking into the castle towards a royal room he stops when he hears voices.

Princess Izreil I stand beside my mother looking over the village beside the castle and laughed with my mother as litter merdog's swim around playing. Then she turned and saw a Shark-dog standing there fangs out. Izreil stiffened not knowing what to do then watched as he locked eyes with her then turned and swam away down the halls then attacked and killed a gaurd before picking up the body and swimming home.

Two Best Friends, One Big Mistake.

Should I make a story? xD Wow, that's not even a question - story it is!

I've always liked him. From the first day we met, I knew we'd be awesome friends. He's an amazing guy, my best friend, and I want it to stay that way. Only that way. But with all of the rumors said about us, about the way we act, about the things we supposedly "did" - it's hard to think that way about him anymore. I can't help it now though, my emotion's have spiraled out of control! I can't stop thinking about him anymore, it's just hard not to picture him without his shirt on at the pool and his amazing six pack. Oh gosh, this can't keep going on much longer before I screw things up between us! Ughhhh!! Autumn wrote in her diary while lying on her bed. School had just started again, and was going on the beginning of October, the month where Autumn and Damien held parties at each others houses about twice every week. She didn't know how long she could contain herself until she said or did something stupid to make him suspicious of their "just friends" role. She's tried sticking it out, but she nearly lost it last time they both had a midnight pool party at his house.

"Why does everything have to be so-" She started, before a familiar voice cut her off.

"Amazing? Beautiful? Stupendous? Magical?" A guy with bright, spiky orange hair mused, standing on her balcony. "Please tell me if I'm getting warmer."

"Damien!" Autumn laughed, not surprised that he had shown up on the balcony - her father has strict rules about boys in the bedroom; she decided to talk to him through the balcony, so that she didn't have any chance at losing her cool with either Damien or her parents. "That's a joke right?"

"Let's see then, if you're not going to take me seriously, then I'm guessing complicated?" He asked, a sly questioning look on his face that made them both laugh.

"Yeah, things are complicated right now." She sighed, hugging her stuffed animal. A semi-long silence drifted between them, until Damien broke the ice.

"Well, aren't you going to let me in?" He asking, rubbing his arms, pretending he was cold. "It's freezing!"

"Oh! Sorry Damien!" Autumn said, making the best "oops" face she could. As she opened the door she lingered there to see if the air really was chilly. "Hey! It's not cold at all!"

"Really? Must've seen a ghost then!" Damien laughed quietly, scooping up Autumn and then carrying her back to her bed. He threw her into the center, where she flopped down like a pillow. He jumped and then sat himself on the corner of her bed. "So really, what's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong..." Autumn muttered, grabbing a pillow and shoving it on her face. She felt attracted to him so much now, with his voice down to a husky whisper, knowing that if she got caught with him inside she wouldn't hear the end of it. But of course, Damien could always tell when she was lying, and plucked the pillow easily off her face.

"I know something's wrong, please tell me." He said, lying next to her, his face only inches away from hers. Autumn couldn't take the heat anymore, and she quickly grabbed his face and kissed him. The kiss lasted a long time, about thirty seconds, until Autumn finally broke it.

"Oh gosh... I'm so-" She tried to say as she started to panic. Her brain searched for words, but was only met with the emptiness that she had been dreading for so long. "I'm so sorry. Oh gosh, I'm so sorry!"

"Uhm, Autumn, I'm going to go now." Damien said awkwardly, his face flushed and his eyes nervous as well. He raced out the balcony door and started climbing down the tree. Autumn watched him go from inside her room. Tears welled up in her eyes until they finally burst, and out came the tears of two very different emotions, joy and pain.

"What have I done..." She whispered to herself softly, clutching her pillow and lying back down on her bed. For sure, this was the end of their beloved friendship she had tried so hard to save.

"Hmmm.." Princess Raina sighed dreamily looking out her window seeing Romane. You see, Princess Raina and Romane are... a bit different. They cannot contact each other in any way, because Raina was the princess and was strictly to marry a prince. Also the dangers of having contact with a shark was against the law. Princess Raina absolutely hated the laws in the kingdom. She always argued with her parents. They were loyal in all, but not to her.

It was early in the morning and Raina's clock was set to 6:45. Right before Raina was going to move she heard a dreadful noise. 'RIIING! RIIIING!!' It was the clock. Without her eyes helping her, her hand searched until it felt the off button. "Uggghhghh!" She groaned. Then it hit her. She was going to meet Romane this morning! She hopped out of her clam bed and got ready. "Brush teeth, check. Hair, check. Tail, check. She looked stunning! Without a doubt she left her room and quietly left the house. She swam to her destination, The Romantic Reef. It was beautiful there, with vibrant colors and fish. She got there and looked. "Where is he?" she said breathing out her words. Then she saw him. Without thinking she literally ran to him, gave him a hug and planted a big juicy kiss. "I..love you." Raina said lovestruck. "I love you, too." Romane said without hesitation, kissing her again. They then lie together in harmony, and affection...
