I am looking to adopt...

Kennel number: P63
Name: Sky
Breed: Husky + Wold
Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:
She's beautiful. And she looks quite shy. I don't want her to live alone, or be afraid of the world. She just looks like she needs a friend, and I can be that friend. Also, Blaze can be with her when I can't. I have a feeling they will be great friends.
Personality:
She is quiet and tends to avoid...living things. She is a time traveler, and doesn't like making friends because they usually die, or turn their backs on her and forget about her.
Likes:
Quiet, peaceful places where she can be alone. She also likes warm sunlight on a cool patch of grass.
Dislikes:
She is terrified of dark places. Nighttime is alright, but a dark room terrifies her.
History/Background:
She had a terrible, wonderful gift when she was born. She was the runt of the litter, and no one, her mother included, thought she would survive. She did, against all odds. She stayed away from her brothers and sisters, mostly because they would make fun of her and taunt her for being a "Sickly little runt no one cared for." She also knew, though they wouldn't admit it, that they were all afraid of her because they knew she was different.
The humans avoided her too. They found her coloring odd, and the question mark on her thigh just must have been an omen. As soon as she was old enough to survive without her mother, they abandoned her. She wandered off into the forest, crying, knowing that certainly, without a doubt, no one had wanted her. She had wanted to go back to a time when she was happy, before she found out how odd she was. Then, before her eyes, the forest disappeared, and she reappeared in the humans' house. She was standing beside her mother, and saw as herself as a little pup was curled up with her siblings. She was smiling. Her mother was sleeping, curled around them.
She stared at the sight for a long time. Then one of the humans came, and started yelling. She ran away from them, looking back once at her mother, who had woken up. She knew then that she would never be normal, never have a family. She knew she was both cursed and blessed. She could go to any time she wanted, but she could never have what she so desperately wanted. A normal life.
She made friends, but there were many creatures who were after her. Every friend she made would either run away from her or be killed by her side. Eventually, she vowed she would never get close to another creature. She just slips in and out of time. One day, she was captured, and taken to the pound. She decided she was done running, knowing full well she could leave if she wanted.

I am also looking to adopt...

Kennel number:P62
Name: Tazhmir
Breed: Timber Wolf
Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:
Well, he's become quite good friends with Sky, and I would hate for them to be separated, especially since she is always so quiet. He seems to be very nice, even if he is a little depressed. I would give him a friend to play with, Blaze. Tazhmir has just been behind bars too long.
Personality: He's kind of depressed. He's really nice, once he gets used to you, but he had a hard life and doesn't really talk that much. But once he has a friend, he will stop at nothing to protect him or her.
Likes: He likes white flowers. No one really knows why.
Dislikes: Thunderstorms scare him nearly out of his skin. He will curl up and whine until it stops.
History/Background:
He was in a very powerful pack. He and his two brothers had just become apprentices, at around the same time there was declared a new Alpha. Their pack was enduring a harder winter than expected, because the humans had moved in and taken over a large part of their territory. The Alpha had decided that they would then steal the stupid domestic animals, because it was a lot of food with generally little work.
Soon Tazhmir was taken on his first hunt alone. He was rather small, and still reasonably weak and scrawny for his age. He knew that catching something at the farm would be his only option. He crept into the place where they kept all the animals, staying close to the floor. But then he smelt blood, an overwhelming amount. He turned and looked out the door, and saw almost all of his pack members lying dead on some huge metal monster. He cringed away, and started whining.
At sunset, the woman came out of the other place and walked over to where Tazmir was hiding. She was old, and had a soft spot for young animals. She picked Tazhmir up, and ended up keeping him for a pet.
Soon after, the woman's husband died of a heart attack. She was devastated, and kept saying the only reason she would continue is because she had Tazhmir. One and a half years later, the woman died in her sleep. This devastated him, and he was never the same. There was a huge argument about what to do with him, because he couldn't be let out into the wild. They were going to shoot him, but then they found the pound and put him here instead.
