Story: (Required) So there I was, sitting in the shade of the massive oak in the park. No one ever came to that park, that's why I liked it so much. If anyone saw me, I'd be sent to some freak show. For you see, I am a black dog with a bright green lion tail. I can never let anyone see it, for my mother told me so. I was always the oddball of my siblings, that no one ever wanted to play with. But now, I am the oddball in no ones eyes, for I am never seen. I blinked my dark eyes and looked around. Oh no! I spotted someone, but, it didn't seem hostile. It was... A dog? It was female, I could tell even from this far. But, there was something odd. Wait! She had a long, bright red lion tail! She was just like me! I leapt to my paws, and immediately bounded over. "Hello!" I yapped, my dark eyes glittering with excitement. "Your just like me!" I barked happily. The female just stared at me. "Hello. I'm Glimmer." She said quietly. I smiled. "Nice to meet you Glimmer, I'm Toxic! Wanna go play? No one ever comes to this park except me, and you to apparently." I informed her. Glimmer nodded and agreed. We quickly became god friends. Many months passed, and she was like my sister. We spent every moment together, we were the best of friends. But then, one day, something happened that changed both of our lives forever. We were playing in that same park, when someone suddenly came up behind me. I hadn't heard a thing, nor had Glimmer. But we both noticed when I was caught in a wire net. No matter how much I writhed and struggled, the net wouldn't budge. I'd been captured! "Run Glimmer, run!" I howled as I was dragged away by a human. But Glimmer didn't listen to me. She drew her lips back in a vicious snarl, and charged forward. "No Glimmer! Run! I'll be fine!" I howled again, but my pleading howl was drowned out by the sound of a gunshot. the whites in Glimmer's eyes showed in large rings, as the light left her eyes and she crumpled onto the ground, lifeless. "NO!!" I yowled, grief sharp as a thousand thorns stabbing into my heart. Glimmer had been my only friend, and now she was gone.
