I hate Hera for kidnapping Percy, hence Annabeth in my signature. I almost threw my book at the wall when I found out it was Hera who did this.

What annoys me: Preyna (Percy x Reyna), Jason and Piper, together or apart I dislike them both.
This is Piper "Ooh, I'm so pretty, but I cut my hair and wear unfashionable clothes so nobody notices me! Bug I'm always going off about that I'm pretty but don't want to be." She just sits there almost crying, waiting for the boys to fight from themselves. Oh, she has a knife? So what. Annabeth has a knife, she's pretty and she can kick asa. Heck! You know how many times she saved Percy?
Yeah, Piper stabs one ogre thing and that suddenly makes her a hero. No way! Leo and Jason were the ones doing everything!

What Percy Jackson book are you talking about?

I can't for the life of me figure it out. I clearly fail at the internet. :p

DA isn't a good place to try and get noticed or get feedback unless you're REALLY good. Like, at least as good as the photo-realistic oekaki artists or even better.
It's damn hard to get noticed.
Especially since there's a lot of random crap floating around that makes you go "Why did they even post that?"
And I don't mean people's art.
I mean stupid crap like re-posting pages from already existing, popular manga(like Naruto) for no reason what-so-ever

But its really hard to get noticed, I agree.

This group of people I follow on Tumblr.
They seem to be all such good friends, and seem like nice, funny people.
I'd love to try and talk to them, but every time I do, I chicken out because I think they won't like me, or will ignore me.
Dammit, self.
Grow a backbone.

This. ._. And I always thought I was good friends with some of them, but seeing them now I realize that we never really were close, and that the people they surround themselves with are much cooler than me.

Um, photorealism isn't the only kind of art that's "good."
In a year I've gotten a hundred followers, which isn't too bad, and I know lots of people who have chibi/other styles and have tons of followers. Putting your dA link in your signature and making yourself known around CS is a good way to get your art noticed, that's what I do.
I can try to answer any questions you have, never/rush (whichever one it is lol). C:
