I didn't get a Lion (I tried - but if I got it I was probably going to keep one and give away any extras)

Personally, I don't really get any of the Hype surrounding certain pets. I mean, sure it would be awesome to own one of those "dream" or "2008/2009" pets - but think about it:

Most people who have those pets now got them through trades which means for some reason or another - The original owner no longer valued that pet. Be it the rarity dropped or they traded it for a different one - something happened somewhere down the line to make them say 'No, I'll trade my Joker away for X PET".

In the end - all pets are only worth what someone is willing to offer for them (So to me - for example - the July Lion is only worth a missed outcome pet or two from past months...wheras to someone else - that same Lion might be worth a Blue Galaxy)

Exactly, pets are only worth what the other person is willing to offer. But sometimes a person doesn't have any want for a pet they are trading, they just want a different pet more. I traded my dream pet (PPS Malk dragon) so I could bump my goal above the 'big gap' in the rares list. Is till loved him, but I had to trade him and my other dreamies so I could get what I really want; the Sunjewel so that I can gift people.

Its just a lion whats the point theres plenty better pets then a tan blue and red lion i mean seriously its dumb Its not likes its a OMG so rare its just going to be a normal rare The shima long tail is fine i get that it has good looks and a good rarity .-.

The shima is only rare too :T and its been going for overpay for months x3 i really dun like shimas..lawlness i prefer cubs but eh *shrugs* my favorite animals are lions(and bunnehs) haha

Does anyone even know someone who's lion has grown up? like, it might be a rare....but...it also might be an uncommon, in which i would laugh my head off at those people who pput down rares, very rares, omg so rares XD

I understand what you're saying, I try to help some people with fair trades but they are like "Well, you can't be right people are paying (Insert high rares pet here)!" and I'm like -.- or "They are worth a rares-list pet and you're only offering a few rares from (insert year)" .....They are not worth a very rare, and no where close to a rares-list pet, I mean, really people? Sorry for that tiny rant

Ditto. I'm on everyday yet I have no idea what all this is about. Lions aren't that special; I have a few from advents and such.
