The little quick and dashing or fast Whitish and light brownish ferret ran, Cream, which was the ferret name had to run if she wanted to reach there before evening but her size didn't really help. She ran faster her brown tail white tip flew behind her, using her perfect eyesight spotted the faerre gate. " I must not be late or I might miss a faerre! " she declared panicking a bit in her mind. She started running panicking but panicking wasn't the way. She soon reached the gates, when she arrived, she was greeted with a crowd. She squeezed past people legs, she quickly sat down eagerly. Suddenly a beautiful brown pelt faerre came onto the stage. Cream stared with admirement at the faerre, she listened to the faerre speech beaming happily, when the faerre told her name, Cream thought, " L -Ran huh? Pretty and unqiue name^^ " She listened, " wants a Aprentice huh? Cooking? Wait.. Cooking apprentice?! OMG! " she thought screaming with excitement in her mind, she liked or loved to cook things. Cream got ready to walk towards L -Ran when she finished her speech, Cream patiently hear L -Ran speech, her tail quivering with excitement as she could sense it nearly came to an end. When L -Ran finished speaking and was ready to accept speech from everyone here, she bounded towards L -Ran. She sat infront of L -Ran and curled her brown white tip tail over her paws. She spoke politely to L -Ran,

" Greetings or should I say hello L -Ran? For introduction My name is Cream, I know, it is a very simple name. " she bowed politely as to show respect to the faerre before looking into L -Ran eyes," I have traveled far from my world to get here. I am a ferret if you don't know what creature I really am just in case. " She smiled. " I hear you want a cooking apprentice? I would be eager and happy to be your apprentice. I have learned cooking and invented new food, I also like to spend my free time cooking things. I would just love to be your apprentice, I would be willing and happily learn your cooking as I am sure I would be able to learn more and cook better. But would you accept a ferret like me as your apprentice? I can show you my cooking, it is in my bag. " she said stuffing her snout into her bag, she pulled out a small lunch box. Cream opened it with her snout, inside was salmon and cookies. " I cooked them, fried salmon and chocolate icing cookies with strawberry in it. I invented them, they was hard for me but I am sure it is simple as pie for you. " she beamed. She took out a salmon and cookie, " I would love if you can give comments on it, I don't know if it I'd good or bad. It would actully be an honor if you could eat it and give critics and comments about my food. You must be a wonderful cook, I am not really. Just saying as I am very like 100% sure that you are a perfect and awesome cook and everyone wants to be your apprentice, you look like it. If you think I am trying to win you over so I can be your apprentice and friend, you are wrong. Sorry if I actully sounded rude, what I said just now was the pure truth, really. I promised. It is, really it is. " her eyes full of trust and honesty

Cream smiled polietly when she ended her speech, she was quite surprise when she could talk everything normally instead of trembling in front of the best cook, she hadn't memorize that speech, she frowned wonderingm suddenly she beamed knowing that it came from her heart and what she said, she wasn't lieing, Cream look at the food for moment before glancing at L -Ran again. She smiled politely waiting for a reply from L -Ran. She felt excited because she would get to know if she got critics and comments and how to improve her baking and cooking. But even better was if L -Ran choose her for her own very own apprentice which was awesome! " That would be a dream come true to become her own apprentice and learn amazing cooking and baking. " Cream thought, the thought of having a chance to become her apprentice made her whole body quiver especially her tail with excitement for a while. She twitch her ears eager, her eyes scanned over L -Ran whole body, the faint white spots were like snow and it looks like sugar, it was perfect, and the brown reminded her of the rich chocolate color, everything was perfect. Perfect for a baker and a cook who was the best in the whole faerre world.

But anyway, L-Ran is gorgeous. I'm with limited internet time though! D: but I'm going to set something out there. Just Cause. XD

First Sign of the Winter's Moon walked briskly towards the Alter. She was almost certain that she was early. Even if she wasn't, she would have liked to be. When she got there, Winter Moon was pleased to find out she was early. She had baked a cake pops last night. The best thing she could bake. But, she had a feeling from looking at everyone else, she certainly wasn't the best baker. That's why she was L-Ran to teach her so badly. She couldn't cook very well at all. She there she stood, feeling self consious and waiting to be let in with every body else. After a while, she began to get sleepy, her eyelids began to drop and cover her lavender eyes. For, she had been up most of last night baking. All of a sudden, the sound of an opening door and people pushing and shoving to get by brought her back.

"Oh, um", Winter Moon mumbled. And she, too, began to make her way inside. She took a seat near the front. Her tail thumping steadily against the floor. Waiting, once more, for the faerre who had yesterday told her of the baking challenge. Now, First Sign of the Winter's Moon was here, waiting for... and there it was. The flap of a curtain followed by the small body of a faerre. This time, the faerre was L-Ran. Well, Winter Moon was so excited, she raced up as soon as L-Ran was done talking. To be one of the first up. "I err...made cake pops",she said weakly. Yet, her eyes still shined as she waited for a reply.

The young black cat jumped up onto the stage, seeing L-Ran."Greetings!"she purred sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws."I understand your looking for an apprentice"she smiled, shaking the flour off her pelt.She smiled again, looking around."Oh my!"she exclaimed suddenly."I forgot to tell you my name, I am Licorice"she meowed, feeling silly."Anyway as I was saying, I understand you wish to take on an apprentice".Licorice sighed, shaking her head."I have always dreamed of being a master cook, and it seems you have given me a chance to make my dreams come true"she purred, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

Licorice smiled happily, shaking her head again."But of course, I cannot make you choose me that is your decision alone"she sighed getting up."I thank you for listening to me, and I hope you understand what I have said"she nodded.The thought of having her dreams come true was over-critical to her, and she felt jumpy.She got up slowly and smiling once again, she began to back away."Farewell, my friend I hope you find the right friend for you"she nodded before jumping of the stage and padding away.

[Starless Eyes]

L-Ran shifted around nervously as she peered past the curtains that separates the Faerres from visitors outside Vinara. The young Faerre twisted around and touched her lucky charm for encouragement before stepping out into the spotlight for all to see. Immediately excited conversations started as the audience below regarded the little brown creature. L-Ran stepped up boldly, flaunting her beautiful brown pelt for all to see and those closest to the stage could even catch the scent of chocolate and baked goods.

"Hello! I'm L-Ran the Faerre, I'm a passionate chef that loves baking more than anything else in life. I feel it's time for me to step out of Vinara's boundaries and improve my skills by incorporating different cultures cooking styles. I'd like to take in an apprentice. We'll meet once more on the Altar in one week, bring your 'audition entry' then. Until then." The Faerre dipped her head and left the stage.

A cute little girl, with her twin, skipped along. 13-14 most estimated, they came here with skills their mother taught them. They were pushed into the hole by their father, who was overwelmed by guards in a few seconds after their departure. Len and Rin were crushed naturally. But found refuge with a cook. Just a little thing. She was a peasant by nature. But had the cooking so good it should have been in a palace. And the deserts. They begged for more. This peasant told them, she learned from L-Ran. So Len and Rin learned more about baking. So to impress L-Ran and learn under her to be able to be good chefs.

Len and Rin soon faced a gleaming castle, they looked at each other with a grin and they both took off like a shot. They ran fast, but warriors stopped them. Len stood defensively in front of Rin, like any brother "Let us in, we want to meet L-Ran" The guard, a black female with a glowing red Sakura branch design coming up from her back paw and stopping at her front shoulder, with a Sakura flower on her cheek and glowing red eyes said "Okay." The gates were open and they ran. The baked good they had made, a cute little pastry shaped like an elephant ((I have been playing Monster Galaxy on my IPad....... It's a truffelant. YOU CAN'T BLAME ME, THEY ARE CUTE)). Pink with the cutesy little whipped cream hat on top. Pink frosting spread smoothly. They did have help from the chef, she called herself Melody.

Len and Rin opened the doors to the alter. Many loomed at them. They shivered. They scuttled up to the stage where L-Ran was. Rin elbowed Len. They bowed. "Lady L-Ran, we have heard of your greatness in cooking, from your student Melody. We hope this pastry elephant can be a worthy contestant for you great compition." They said together. They had been practicing rigorously since they heard. Rin elbowed Len again and he pulled the elephants container from his bag. It was a bit messed up in some places "I wish I could say we did that to add character, but we ran here because we were happy. And anticipating......" Len said. He handed the cute pink elepant pastry to L-Ran and also pulled a little pendant. It was a snake, made of lapis lazuli, with blue of midnight and cracks of silver. "And here, this is our gift. It's something we have from our home. You see, elephants there, are common and are usually pets in some places. And snakes, yep, also very common and good pets. We don't have any poisonous ones though, but my favorite is the one that looks like lapis lazuli." Rin said, she giggled "Lapis lazuli is also common. But our pet elephant, I once drew a picture of her, making her made of sugar" Len giggled and hugged his sibling and walked away "Hope you like it" they called over their shoulder.

Rin ran back and gave a tiny kiss on L-Ran's muzzle. And ran back with a smile

Two orphan twins, both with blonde hair and gray eyes and a sweet happy go lucky attitude. They try not to let things get them down but it happens. They look like Rin and Len kagmine

Basically that, but cake ish. I did make a baked good. I made a cake, with a frosting picture of the Trufflefant, with the whipped cream, cherry and cotton candy tail 3D. But I'm on an iPad

Character

Renu: A little duckling. Yes. A duckling.

Some pastry.

Renu watched with her little beady eyes as she watched the chocolate-colored faerre walked up to the altar and introduced herself. Her eyes widened in awe as L-Ran declared that she was a passionate chef. And Renu could only hear her heart thud as the faerre said that she'd take in one apprentice. An apprentice! Renu almost giggled with excitement as her short, fluffy tail feathers quivered and shook. Oh, how she'd love to be an apprentice! She loved cooking. Her parents have always cooked and baked foods that were always somewhat magical to her. And she had always loved helping them.
But...an audition entry? "We'll meet once more on the Altar in one week, bring your 'audition entry' then. Until then," the faerre's voice rang in her mind. She squeezed her eyes shut and plopped down on the floor. A pastry? Surely she couldn't! Discouraged and uninspired, she waddled home in defeat.
She stepped into her little pond she called home and lay on her back as she thought of something she could bake.
A cake? No...she didn't know how. Where she came from, cake was not a very big thing.
Pie? Yet again no. She didn't know what made a pie a pie.
Cookies? Maybe...but no. A lot of people know how to make cookies. How would baking cookies show her potential? Unless it was really cool. But she didn't know how to make a really cool cookie.
Maybe she was thinking too much of the pastries everyone knew about. But what else could she do? Eyelids drooping, she hobbled over to her bed of soft moss, mud, and fine grass and laid her head down and slept.

A few days later, it was a day before the week was over. And Renu still sat, wondering what to bake. Something special. Something...exceptional. Something that might just knock her socks off.
...
That's it! Renu rushed to bake the pastry that had a little...kick to it.

Finally, it was the time. Renu, covered with flour and something that burned one's nose, walked up to L-Ran and set down the pastry.
"Um," she said sheepishly, "hi. My name is Renu, and this is my entry."
She set down her plate. Something very tingly filled her nose as she held one up to her bill.
"This is my...pastry. I know," she said, her face reddening, "this isn't probably your normal dish."
She pointed to the pastry and pieced together a smile on her face. Then she flipped over the meat on the pastry and smelled the aroma.
"This...is the smell of kimchee. It's really spicy...but I think it tastes nice. Compliments the meat on it, in my opinion."
Renu chuckled nervously as she looked at L-Ran. Her tail feathers quivered slightly, but she calmed it down by sitting on it.
"I am from a distant country...but our parents moved near here afterward. We being my brothers and sisters. They now went their separate ways, but I am still here."
she paused, circling the pastry with her finger feathers, and looked at her webbed feet.
"When we were younger, the pond that I now live in was our home. And we had so many memories! We splashed in the pond, and we rolled in the soft grass after swimming.
"But perhaps the best memories were of the kitchen. Since we were from a different country, we had a different culture. And that meant different foods. Oh, there was rice, noodles, side dishes that you might mistake as appetizers, and so much more. And our parents always cooked when we were there, so we could see the magic. And my favorite dish out of all? Well, it was probably kimchee. Its spiciness and crunchiness and freshness that just...blends in so well.
"So, I decided to go with a pastry that...reflected my culture. And reflected what I like. Maybe mother and father might be proud of me today."
Renu smiled softly and sat up.
"Thank you for your time," she said, bowing to L-Ran out of respect. Then she waddled away, munching on her pastry as she wondered what L-Ran's verdict would be.
