Glancing around my house I tiptoed out the door and rushed like a mad girl to the pens in the Pokemon Center. I sighed and rested on a chair for a few seconds before looking into pen three. The one pokemon who brought my attention to it was an Oshawott, resting in a corner sleepily. I reached out to grab it and it stared at me with tired eyes, squirming a little in my hands. I turned my attention to the person standing there and cuddled the Oshawott next to my cheek, grinning as it finally opened it's eyes wide and poked my face. "Could I get this one please?" I asked the lady standing there as the Oshawott, whom I would nickname Sleepy, started dozing off again, closing his eyes again..

Paragraph on where you get the pokemon: I stretched, letting myself revel in the feeling that loosened my shoulders and relaxed the rest of my muscles. I took that slow. It was the only slow thing about my day. ASs soon as I had stretched myself out, I was in a rush. "Clothes, hair, shoes - yes, shoes are important..." I had a habit of saying what I needed to do out loud. I practically tripped out the door, barely remembering to shut it in my rush. Hopefully it wouldn't get broken into.
I slowly my pace marginally as I reached the Pokemon pens, looking eagerly at each one. To my mild dissapointment, they didn't have any fire-types that I wanted. However, there was a Chikorita, and it caught my eye. I smiled kindly, suddenly slow again, and absently said, to anyone who happenend to be lidtening, and hopefully to someone who cared, "I'd love this Chikorita."

your pokemon looked at you, then to the newly caught butterfly pokemon, then to you, as if you where stupid. the pokemon. was it holding something? around its left wing. a small glittery thing, like a raindrop that wasn't moving. though you didn't seem to feel rain. what was it?
you take a few seconds to try and touch it. it's cold, and damn, but not moveable. a ice-like feeling.
what is it?
it seems like a neaklace.
with a sudden burst of nodding, your pokemon looks at you and pulls a battle-stance of some sort.

i take it your pokemon wants to go to the gym.

it seems the small fire-type bird nodded her head, making a small squakey noise and a sudden movement at the bag as it dragged it closer to its' body. maybe it thought that something was inportant that you open your bag?
slowly you open it, your pokemon shoves its head in the bag swiftly and drags out a scarf, a lime green, slilky, it's that type of silk that wants to make you grab it and cling to it till you fall asleep. A smoothing feeling. your pokemon looks at you with a gleeful look, squirming it over it's beak and looking at you with a cute, smart glitter in its eyes.

Simon looks at you with an confused look before taking a bite of the HM and munching it down, a small click sounded from inside as simon nodded his head.

it took a few moments for me to realise and compute what pokemon it was. catapie, a bug type. the fact it was a bug type caused me to slink back in a flinch of fear, a shiver went up my spine as i stare at the little bug-type green pokemon. however adorable it was, the fact it was a bug scared the charmanders out of me. let alone the fact it was green, red, with giant, adorable dark eyes.

it took a few moments for myself to snap back as the fact aura gave a squeaky shout, eager to start. the orange pokemon flicked its two tails for a few moments before gently starting to move into a battle start, squirting a little icy cold water out of its mouth before lashing his two tails around twice.
grabbing my attention, i realised this wasn't just for me. how selfish i had been thinking.

aura wanted a traveling partner too.
aura himself enojoyed the fact of having two pokemon with us. that must of been why aura was so eager to attack. nodding my head slightly to myself, i told myself to buck up and start to attack. so that what i did.

nodding my head, i calculated how fast the pokemon could move. not very fast, by the looks of it. though, it could of been just hiding its speed. so i chose to go with the second fastest move i knew.

sonicboom.

and then i needed to call out the attack. my mind was spinning slightly, from the fact that i was one ; facing a bug, when mostly, i would cover myself behind aura and hide, and two ; i was having to choose everything.

around ten seconds later, i took a gulp and nodded my head.

"alright aura! speed yourself up with quick attack and then try and attack with a sonicboom!" i called out, trying to keep my voice from breaking in a high pitch.

though, it was harder then it sounded.

a few seconds later, i realised i had infact called out the attack, and now was waiting for my pokemon to attack. thats if aura understood what i meant.

Zoe blinked as she woke up. She could hear her mother calling her, but it seemed distant. Turns out she had rolled off the wrong side of her bed. She could smell pancakes wafting through to her bedroom and practically drooled.  She sat up and looked around. She looked over her bed to see her mothers Pikachu and her brother Ninetails walk into her room. She laughed lightly an smiled. "ok Pea. Fox. I'm coming let me fix up my bed and get dressed". She said standing up. She shooed the Pokemon out and started to clean her bedroom. Before someone bumped into her leg. She looked behind her and noticed her little 5 1/2 year old brother max there with his toy shinx. She giggled. "morning max". She said smiling. She leant out to the hallway. "hey fox come and grab Max!". She shouted out and went back to cleaning. She heard the Pokemon enter. Pick up her brother. Then leave. She sighed. She grabbed a black shirt and pants. She grabbed her under-garmets and got dressed. She slipped on her jacket and tied her black and gray hair back into a neat bun. She sighed and grabbed her back-pack. She headed to the kitchen to have breakfast. She quickly ate and smiled. "thanks mum. I've gotta go. Bye" she hugged her mother then left she ran to the Pokemon center. She stopped outside the pens and smiled brightly. She looked at the Chikorita. She adored grass types. Unlike her big brother who loves fire types. He rolled her eyes. Then looked at the Mudkip. -oh why is it so hard- she thought bitterly. 
Other:  I know it said to do it in first person in the rules but i have trouble doing first person. Sorry. And if Chikorita is taken then she will steal the Mudkip. If its ok.

The lady soon walked over, nodding. "Of course. He isn't always tired like this, but he is a very laid back pokemon. A curious pokemon, too." She said softly. "Here is the Oshawott's pokeball, along with a pokedex and other pokeballs." Handing the items to you, she looked down at the Oshawott. "You are free to take him out now."

"Alright Shadow, use Peck!" I called out, thinking of things for a moment. This was an even batle, although Scyther was a grass type and they were weak to flying-type moves. But, Scyther was also a flying-type.

Reaching the pokemon center, Nurse Joy took Ben's pokeball and walked off with him for a few moments, soon returning. "Ben is all healed and ready to battle." She said with a smile.

Simply

The Professer came towards you, looking at the Chikorita. "Of course you can have that one. Here is her pokeball, pokedex, and a few extra pokeballs. That pokemon is very energetic, and will become very connected to it's owner." He said.

Loki

A worker came up to you with a small frown that soon turned into a small. "Sorry, but the Chikorita has been selected by someone else. You are free to take the Mudkip, though." She said. "Here are extra pokeballs and a pokedex. Here is Mudkip's pokeball, if you want to take him."

Kestrel

After a short while, a wild Caterpie appears in front of you, squirming around.

I could tell my opponent's Venonat was strong, and knew I would have to use as much strength, as strategy on this battle. "Iggy use Ember on Venonat and Flori use Tackle on Paras!"
