Welcome, to the FPA home page!
Where you can learn about this incredible and adorable species,
and how to adopt one of your own !
The creation of {FPA}
I (.s.c.) created this species, on June 22nd, while showering,
and decided to make a few skecth lines and see who else was interested
in helping. Both my awesome Co-owners, wanted to help me out and
helped in developing the finial product.
How to become staff
If I'm looking for staff, I will state it, if I do not need any staff, do not ask.
Artists will be picked as soon as we get the official adoption center up, by form.
Mods will be picked by the co-owners however they'd like
Co-owners have been picked, and will NEVER be picked again,
DO NOT ask to be one, I will say no.
How to help us out
Make banners, stamps, just spread the word
You can make fan art, clubs, and RP,
as long as you contact me, or the co-owners
Help is always appreciated

FP's live in Australia, with their relatives, the Platypuses of the non-flying variety. They live up in trees, usually near some body, or source of water, lake, stream, pond, etc. They nest in the most dense areas of the tree, or even inside of one, if they have hole in them, big enough for them. They enjoy a sunny, warm habitat, and usually stay in their nests during the colder months.



FP's enjoy many sorts of food, depending on their own personal tastes, but normally they enjoy fish, shell fish and other marine creatures. They also eat plants, flowers, and occasionally bugs and grub. Fp's can be picky about what they eat, and always smell their food before they eat it. If it doesn't smell right, they wont eat it.



FP's range in size, from a normal platypus size, to a large dog. They have all of the qualities of their flightless brethren, with poison in their back claws, and the ability to give birth to eggs, as well as everything else. the only physical differences, are the wings, and colors. Fp's can come on any color, and design, which makes them completely unique.



FP's mate for life. They breed when they are about 2 years of age, and mate until death, after death they do not get new mates, they often die of depression. They breed once a year, in the warmest months. When choosing a mate they are most concerned about the coat patterns and colors, and which will be most compatible with theirs. They lay 1 egg a year, rarely do they have twins, and they almost always survive.

Here at {FPA} we give Flying Platypuses to good, worthy homes
But in order to adopt you have to read and follow these rules

❥Be polite
❥no begging or whining
❥There is no limit on how many you can adopt, but 5 is probably enough
❥No stealing other's Fp's or the idea
❥No creating your own
❥No breeding on your own
❥Love your FP like they love you, if you don't give them back
❥Listen to all staff
❥If I need artists I will say so, don't ask if I don't say I need them

Hey y'all! Im LabelMeGold but you can call me Gold since all that is too much of a hassle to type. I'm a younger girl living in Colorado. I have two dogs at my home and a duck and a chick living at my cousins. I'm obsessed with animals, drawing and music. Im typically a nice, reasonable person unless you do something to really upset me. My one of many quirk is that I think emoticons are everything! (: Im a mod for JBD adopts and help out with a lot of other things but usually in small scale. ^^
I decided to become co-owner for FPA because the species was adorable, the creator looked amazingly sweet and I needed another summer commitment. (Though I know it will last through the summer!(: ) I hope I can help take this superb species higher than we ever thought it could go.
