You specified no where at the beginning of this contest that the joker bun may not be given out. Therefore people were entering with the hopes of winning said prize. You must hand it out at the end of your contest.

I feel this was directed towards me. I am just asking what is happening to the prizes. I do not want to be in a contest that I don't know what's happening in it. All I wanted was clarification.

I was talking to every one. I understand that you just wanted some clarification as of what is happening. What I understood was that it was a 'possibility' that the joker bun would not be given out. It didn't make it a 'for sure' And if the joker bun wasn't able to be given out then two hard to find animals would take it's place.

I added those prizes instead of the joker bun...If you dont like that, then ill stay with the joker bun. if the grand grand prize isnt won, it will go to the person who wins the VR grand prize horse

For contests offering a prize/prizes to the winners:


If you tell contestants that they are able to win a specific CS pet or something similar in one of your competitions, you must come up with the goods at the conclusion of the contest.

So, for example, if you offer a zebra as 1st prize for a character design contest, you MUST award a zebra to the contest winner at the end. You can NOT swap the prize for something different partway through a competition. The only chance of swapping prize in this case is if the prize winner IS HAPPY to take a different prize and both parties agree on the change.

IF you feel that it is likely that you will change prize partway through the competition, you must state VERY CLEARLY, at the BEGINNING of the contest, 'THE PRIZE MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.'

Why is this rule necessary? Because some people may enter your contest based soley on what they can win, and if you change the prize when they've already begun drawing their entry, you may be making them work for something they no longer want.

So please play fair, and only offer what you are truely willing to give to the winners!

For contestants:
if you are in a contest and it swaps prize without warning partway through the competition, report the post or contact a moderator right away

You have not stated anywhere on the front page that the prizes were susceptible to being changed. This still violates our contest rules.
