Ok, here's what happened. I had so many entries tie at 80 points that I decided to give all 80 and 2 75 pointers the honorable mention instead of trying to eliminate some of them. All 80 point and 2 75 point scores are honorable mention. All winners are posted in the second post. Winners in second post.

Ok calling all inexperienced artists out there, here's your opportunity to win some nice prizes and tips from an advanced artist whether you've just begun or have done a few artworks and just never made it to intermediate level.
This contest will be open to any inexperienced artist who has not posted in intermediate or hasn't posted at all.

I will be checking each contestant's gallery, so please leave this for the beginners. I reserve the right to disqualify an entry I feel has had prior experience in another forum such as Deviant art, etc.

The line art is cut in half meaning that the left wolf is on a separate layer as is the left head shot so anyone who wishes only 1 wolf view may remove the other. You (The contestant) are not required to color both sides and I understand if you don't know how to remove the second set of lines (yet) and you may leave them uncolored. I do require a full side shot, head and eyes though.

Since everyone wants to see prizes prizes, well here they are. Every entrant must read my rules as well. Prizes are subject to change but only for the better, I won't lower the values at all.

Rules:

First and foremost, all Tess's and Chicken Smoothie rules apply.

1. These are my lines and they are not to be used for other contests YET, or used anywhere outside chicken smoothie, etc. I created them for this contest and may use them in the future but no one may use them at the moment.
2. This contest is open ONLY FOR BEGINNERS. NO ADVANCED OR INTERMEDIATE LEVEL ARTIST WILL BE ACCEPTED.
(If you have a art that goes intermediate level AFTER your entry, you will NOT be disqualified, I will still allow you.)
3. You are allowed to modify the lines if you wish with add ons, hair, etc., for the contest but again, cannot take my lines anywhere else except places like c.s. roleplays.
4. I reserve the right to keep the 1 grand prize entry if I decide to, but really this is just for fun, I am not really intending it to be for me to keep. Pm me if you want to keep your creation, I don't bite.
5. I got hungry.. rule 5 seemed like it needed to be nommed on, so I ate it.
6. The lines cannot be used in other competitions or sold but may be used by the contestant for their own purposes here on the site. This is because the lines are my own and not for sale.
7. Have fun and enjoy using my lines to win some fun prizes.
8. You must post here at least something such as "entered" or "interested" or "marking" to bump my topic.

* other similar combinations like brown and lime green or brown and neon purple. Be creative!!!
* black and turquoise and white used together
* purple and gold when done nicely, looks very regal and elegant such as a purple dog with gold accents or jewelry.
* Rainbow when used as accents but not the whole animal.

* Butterflies
* Unicorns, pegasus and kirins but 1 horn, not antelope horns.
* Art stuff like paint, pens, etc.
* earrings and other creative jewelry items, especially tail items.

Creativity 40% possible: 40, I couldn't deduct from this one because it's original, creative and compelling

Overall score: 90 A clear grand prize winner from the beginning, compelling and very well done. Only the snow needs improving. I absolutely love the snow going over the eyes in the background and the poem just adds to it. Very nice entry. Keep in mind, I do not necessarily find t his to be the best entry, just one that is compelling and shows that the artist is willing to improve and learn from my free tutorials.

1st Rabbit448
Creativity 40% possible: 35 I love the little wings on it and the heart marking.
Composition: 30% possible: 25 great job applying my tips and likes and dislikes. I only took 5 points because one heart is on the wrong eye... to the wolf that is on the right, the heart is on the right eye where in both other views it is on the right.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 Very very original, nice use of likes and the key was a nice added bonus.

Overall score: 85 one of the best, I really liked this entry and it does show good improvement over other artwork in their gallery and they even used white to make dots in my eye art. Great job.

2nd. Neverforgotten entry 2
Creativity 40% possible: 35 Nice touch white with color over it mosaic style
Composition: 30% possible: 35 It flows very well and there is no point where you are drawn so you look at the overall work instead of focusing on one point.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 Just had little to deduct for swirls, they are common
Following rules: 5%. possible: 5
Overall score: 85. This entry is compelling and I really like it except for the cactus floating.

3rd Sunny Cupcake
Creativity 40% possible: 35, I really like how you blended my likes with your art and the scrolls are very nice. I love how the one blue paint splotch looks like a butterfly. You added a little pendant but I can't tell by looking if it's a feather or a pendant and it appears below the lines and should be above them..
Composition: 30% possible: 20 this wolf has markings that are different on each side but don't match up unless they are exactly stopping dead center of the top of the wolf. One would think the paint would drip a little on either side.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 this is very nicely put together, I like the combo of scrolls and paint splotches

Creativity 40% possible: 30 Nice use of gears. Kind of looks like pink electricity too.
Composition: 30% possible: 25 This work does have a nice flow to it, the colors draw you to the gear and away from the face which is fine because the face doesn't have markings to look at so drawing the eye to the gears looks nice. I was going to give 20 but gave 5 more for following my tips like I did to everyone who followed my tips.
Originality: 25% possible: 20

Creativity 40% possible: 30 it just is nicely done, I love the white on blue and green wintery feel
Composition: 30% possible: 25 It flows very nicely and there isn't a point that focuses your attention so it lets you look at the art as a whole. I had to subtract for the error on the marking, on the cheek.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 Nice touch with the purple nose and black outlined dots on the back.
Following rules: 5%. possible: 5
Overall score 80. Seems we have a few ties and I will have a seperate tie breaker later.


Honorable mention no prize: NARANDA 1 (My notepad can't do your characters, so hope I got your name right?)
Creativity 40% possible: 30, nice touch with the dots in a grouping.
Composition: 30% possible: 20, it doesnt flow and the eye of the viewer is drawn not to the overall work but to the dots.
I also noticed you didn't have a pink color dot, which would be required if someone wanted to get the hex code and one
Originality: 25% possible: 15 I just didn't find it very original, just dots and basic leg markings.

Honorable mention no prize: Frodomyboy. No prize but a very nice artwork that would have been a prize winning entry but was late and not allowed to compete.

Creativity 40% possible: 30 It just isn't that unique or creative. There are tons of tiger stripes on c.s.
Composition: 30% possible: 25 Well drawn, very good anatomy but wolves have thicker legs and the belly line is off, this is more coyote like... it does remind me of Wile E. Coyote from Loony Tunes.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 again with the simple tiger stripes it's not that original. if there is stuff in the black, I cannot see it due to my monitor... discussed below in following rules.
Following rules: 5%. 2 because of the late entry, if I had allowed it I would have deducted for rule being broken. You also used a black base after I clearly stated on the first page not to use black as a base, so a second rule was broken, ultimately what made me not allow it in the competition.
Overall score: 77 would have been an 80 if all rules had been followed and possibly even an 85 if a black base had not been used after being clearly posted as "do not use a black base, I cannot see it."



Scoring, Initial run:

Here I will post any entries that have come from other line arts.

Since I had no outside lines, I will use t his for posting scores. All scores will be posted at the moment and then right after t hat, I will post the winners because there are some ties in my scoring of the initial run. Here are my initial scores. Thank you everyone, this was very hard to judge. Remember, as of 5PM pacific, I still haven't c hosen 2nd,3rd and honorable mentions.


Here is a basic overview of how I judged:
Creativity 40% possible: This score composed of 30% on the wolf and heads, and 10% on accessories or backgrounds.
Composition: 30% possible: This score composed of 15% how the work fit together/flowed and 15% skill /ability to improve. Auto 15% if first competition or if I had not much to go by to show improvement.
Originality: 25% possible: Something I haven't seen would score highly.
Following rules: 5%. possible: This score went to 0 points if a rule was broken and not fixed. 3 points if it was fixed. If I have missed any deductions for t his, let me know and I will adjust the scores.

Moon^.^
Creativity 40% possible. I'm giving only 10 points for actually entering. Solid grey just isn't creative.
Composition:: 30% : I'm giving you only 10 points for skill because you didn't use your skill. Your gallery shows you can do much better than a solid grey wolf that is outside the lines.
Originality: 25% : I am giving a 0 on this one, this just has nothing to give a score on
Following rules: 5%. : You did follow rules, so 5
Overall score: 25. I'm very sorry but this little solid grey guy just didn't have enough going for it to show effort or even to show you cared about the reason for the competition.

Creativity 40% possible: 20 . I like the dots, but the face lacks something, it probably should have a dot somewhere.
Composition: 30% possible: 15 The dots do flow with the shape of the wolf but the art is lacking, only 13 minutes. good artwork is not created in 13 minutes.
Originality: 25% possible: 15 This is an original pattern if somewhat lacking in creativity I haven't seen a work with just dots.
Following rules: 5%. possible: 3 because you had to go back and make a post after I reminded you
Overall score: 53. A nice beginner work starting to improve

Sunny Cupcake

Creativity 40% possible: 20. This is simply a copied pattern from the one I gave as an example and although you added green, it could have been more creative.
Composition: 30% possible: 20 I did like the use of my likes in colors and the dual chocolate feel, the wolves flowed well. Adding the green was nicely done as well.
Originality: 25% possible: 10 again, as in creativity, this is simply someone elses idea with an added color.
Following rules: 5%. possible: 5
Overall score: 55, this is a nice beginner work and I do like the appearance but not quite what I can see you are capable of.

Creativity 40% possible: 30, nice job on the dual backgrounds and possible good vs evil idea but the colors again, just like Summer Storm could have been more creative and not a copy of the one I used for reference.
Composition: 30% possible: 20. this work somewhat flowed together but at times seemed rushed or blurry and some out of the lines. You did not complete the heads which did take away 5 points
Originality: 25% possible: 15. This again is not as original as I can see you can do. Your gallery has some nice entries, I feel you rushed this one.
Following rules: 5%. possible: 5
Overall score: 70, it looks nice but again, I can tell by your gallery that you are capable of better.

Creativity 40% possible: 25. I felt this one was rushed and just a copy of my example although I do like the white nose and background, nice touches.
Composition: 30% possible: 20 this work did flow quite nicely with the background but I feel you rushed too much
Originality: 25% possible: 10 this is just a copy of the example, same pattern with a white nose

Overall score: 60 of course I like it because it matches my favorite pet but again, it's a copy and you definitely could do better.

Composition: 30% possible: 20 it does flow nicely and the faces match the wolves.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 I think your use of the dots and a paint splash with the single stripe on the leg is very original.

Overall score: 70, well on the way to intermediate oekaki

Lady Obvious (Possibly a name change?)
Creativity 40% possible: 25, I love how you put the orange paint splatter above the yellow but the background seems out of place and there's not much time spent as if you just wanted to get it out of the way.
Composition: 30% possible: 20 everything flows so smoothly and goes well together, nothing seems out of plae.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 I haven't ever seen anyone use a dark belly light wolf.

Creativity 40% possible: 25, although I like this idea of melting c hocolate, I'm not fond of the texture tool. No accessories or background also subtracted from the score.
Composition: 30% possible: 20, it does flow nicely but the head markings don't match the wolf

Creativity 40% possible: 30 Cute little rainbow marking on the right rear and nice laced right front. Nice soft bg.
Composition: 30% possible: 15 This wolf doesn't flow nicely, the greens with the blues and reds jus tdon't mix well to me, it would work if the blue markings were a green or a brown. The rainbow fits better than the blue and reds. Also the eyes don't match, the lighter blue being on the right on the left side wolf and on the left on the right side wolf.

Originality: 25% possible: 15 It's nice but plain stripes and the way the color is put on are not all that original. I like the bi-color stripes though.

Creativity 40% possible: 25 it just seems like there need to be more creativity with it. 15 minutes is too little time for a contest entry in my opinion.
Composition: 30% possible: 20 It has a nice paint splash on the eye but overall it just doesn't flow and looks a little bit rushed and simplified.
Originality: 25% possible: 15 It's just too basic, it's hard to give it a good riginality score

Overall score 65. Needing a little more time on the Oekaki but that's wha this contest is for after all. it looks as if you took more time with some of your other entries and possibly only entered for the prize, not for the tips.

Creativity 40% possible: 30 it just is nicely done, I love the white on blue and green wintery feel
Composition: 30% possible: 25 It flows very nicely and there isn't a point that focuses your attention so it lets you look at the art as a whole. I had to subtract for the error on the marking, on the cheek.
Originality: 25% possible: 20 Nice touch with the purple nose and black outlined dots on the back.

Creativity 40% possible: 25 Seems like this is about the 5th entry with the paint splatters. I like my one and only pink sparkle dog but that didn't mean I wanted so many entries that look like it. I do like how you added some markings to the paint spray. I really like the tree background and gave full points for it but less for the wolves and heads
Composition: 30% possible: 20 because of the mismatched markings it doesn't flow correctly and one gets drawn to the eyes in the tree instead of the wolves, especially since the tree eyes don't match the wolves.
Originality: 25% possible:15 it just wasn't original because it's the 5th I've looked at with the same brown with paint on it.

Composition: 30% possible: 20, it doesnt flow and the eye of the viewer is drawn not to the overall work but to the dots.
I also noticed you didn't have a pink color dot, which would be required if someone wanted to get the hex code and one
