I know i said i would do the new species on Sunday but i like them so much i'm doing them now ^^ i'll post the details below
Elf kits

Facts: Elf kits are half the size of normal kits. They only live high up in tree tops and (due to popular demand) are the only kitkin to have wings they can have either feather, insect or butterfly wings (not chibi) This is thought to help them fly from one tree to another. These wings are not very strong and therefor can only carry them short distances/ heights so are used mostly for hovering or gliding. They can also be born without wings. Kits can only fly once they are 6 months as the wings need time to develop before they can work.
These kits are super fast and can live in huge groups but are much more shy than normal kits and much weaker due to there small size and lighter bone structure.
They live in either nests or hollows in the tallest oldest trees in the forest. These kits are excellent at working with wood carving it into beautiful shapes.
These kits do eat what normal kits eat but prefer high flying insects, fruits and seeds that grow up high as well as a different diet of bird eggs and small birds.
These kits rarely set foot on the ground or in underground burrows and do so only if absolutely necessary. If they join a flurry underground they make a hollow close to were the ground burrow is to avoid having to go underground.
These kits love shiny objects and will go out of their way to collect a fine horde of shiny objects which they can also use to impress mates.
These kits make soft humming sounds that they turn into courtship songs much like birds and dance to there songs to attract a mate. These are considered all the more elegant when the kit dances using it's wings. If the other kit excepts they will add their own complimentary song and mimic the dance.
Tufted kits

Very closely related to dragon kits. These are the largest of all kits and are generally very aggressive compared to other kits. These kits thrive in the coldest conditions due to their extra fur. The extra fur also serves as protection against bites from other kits as well as their tough skin made of scales which can be seen where the fur becomes thin on the noes.
These kits love to live in caves and rock faces deep underground and have excellent eye sight in the dark but if this fails their perfect hearing helps them get around in the darkest of caves. These kits use their strong claws to carve out rock faces and dirt tunnels to make a den.
These kits prefer meat to any other food and prey on insects and rodents that they find underground. Their excessive fur also keeps them warm in the cold under reaches of the rock tunnels.
These kits are highly protective and tend to live in very small family groups. This kit is most active during winter and autumn months. These kits also love to hoard and will choose an item of choice the horde it in the millions. They particularly like soft objects as it is a nice change in the rock tunnels.
These kits fight for their mate much like male deer. With the biggest and best winning the heart of the female. The larger kits are also thought to be more desirable because they can better provide food, warmth and protection in the harsh underground environment.
