I chose this name because this character here before you is based on a person in my own personal life, but not in the way a fursona would. Its how others and I perceive this particular person and my relationship with her. I believe that this is who she really is, but is too afraid to show. And no, my friend’s name is not Ashley, that would be too weird. Ashley Moore is an innocent name with a beautiful meaning and, to me at least, shows a perfect example of what her personality is in a nutshell. A beautiful name to go with a beautiful girl.

Ashley is one of the funniest people you would ever meet, in the way she walks and talks, her little everyday actions that make others’ lives better. She loves to tell jokes, or just make people laugh with silly gestures. She is very clever in the way she makes jokes out of other people, careful not to offend them in any way possible. She never tells rude or racist jokes, because that is just wrong. Ashley isn't a rebel, and would never cross that path to get to where she wants. Ashley is loyal to her friends and family, to just about anyone really. She would never stab someone in the back, spread rumours about people she doesn't particularly like or anything that would hurt another person. Unless it's just messing around with her friends. Then she just gets on her macho and acts tough in front of them. But they all know she isn't as strong as Ashley portrays in her acting. She is a tad bit over-confident in herself, and would openly and very loudly voice her opinion, often forgetting that the person she may be referring to would be behind her, or not noticing the teacher standing beside her when she starts swearing and getting angry during a class. When Ashley gets angry, it's more gut wrenching funny then scary. Her actions when she's angry just makes you forget what the hell Ashley was angry about and just start laughing at or with her, if she'd gotten over her show of anger. But Ashley clearly doesn't care if she swears in front of a teacher, she knows that she won't get into too much trouble if she covers herself up a bit. Usually the teachers just give her a look and she'll stop, they all know how she is by now. It's hard not to know Ashley once you've seen her. She makes friends fast that my dog running after food. And that's pretty fast. You just need to be near her once to get a taste of what she is all about. Ashley is rather loud and everyone knows that. You can hear her laughter from a long way away.

How & Why?
There is something about her that I have been searching for in a character, but I can't quite put my finger on it. She is just...so pretty. The way that she is so simple, yet still very unique at the same time amazes me. I've always been drawn to complicated characters, and to have a connection with Ashley so instantaneously almost frightened me. I've tried to avoid Spotty's wonderful creations in the past, knowing that many people crave her designs. I was scared that I'd fall in too deep, which I have and why I'm now writing this form. I'm afraid that I won't be able to take this amazing creation and call her my own. But that defiantly will not stop me trying.
I have wanted to write a novel for quite some time, and somehow today whilst at school my friends and I were discussing the topic. I want to write something out of the ordinary, something new. But I didn't know what that would be. Ashley is based on my best bud for a reason, and that reason would become clear in Ashley's history.
Ashley would be used as the main character in my (hopeful) novel, as well as a loved character in my gang here in the pixel world. She would receive art from many different people, be loved by me and become a famous character amongst those who read my novel. She would be treated with the most respect I can offer her. And always be loved ♥
The human side of Ashley
Ashley is a tall teenaged girl. She is of average weight, but has those unmistakable feminine curves. Her hair is boy-cut, but longer. Not like a 'bob' though, a naturally long boy-cut. She has sky-blue eyes and her hair colour is a dark brown with blue steaks running through. She has soft, tanned skin and full lips. She has three piercings in her right ear and two in her left. You can often find her with bows in her hair, wearing bracelets, rings and a silver necklace that has half a butterfly with the word 'best' engraved on it. Her usual outfit is vintage dresses and leather boots.
