Aww, Crocus is really pretty ^^ But little Todd’s been here a while, and I like his natural colours. I think he’s won me over ^^;
Goennec Pen #: 5
Name: Todd (I like his name as it is ^^ Besides, a fox is known in Scotland as a ‘todd’, so it fits in with his colouring and his breed, or half of it, anyways ^^)
How would you use him/her: Little Todd would run with my horse herd. I appreciate he is a very small fellow, especially as he is still only young, and so, for that matter, he will be firm friends with the foals in the herd. So far, there is only the stallion and the lead mare’s filly, Velvet, in the herd, but soon I will be getting a zorse foal, and I hope to get a foal from Whisper as well (all my herd can be found through the ‘My Fursona and Characters’ link in my signature). Little Velvet takes after her father: head strong and brave, but she’s got her mother’s passion for small animals. Because of this, she has taken a particular liking to little Todd, and carries him around on her back much of the time.
Define your Goennec: Todd lives up to his namesake: he is cheeky, inquisitive and very agile. There’s no danger of this little fellow being crushed by the huge horses. Not only is he a firm favourite in the herd, and every horse always keeps a special look out for him, but he’s also so quick on his feet that he’d never get caught under their huge frames. The Big Horn sheep side of him loves the company and security of the horse herd, while the Fennec Fox in him rejoices at every opportunity to slink off and explore the undergrowth. He’s so small, few notice him going, but the foals are always looking for fun, and he invariably leads them into mischief.
Todd is probably Velvet’s best friend, and they go everywhere together, him perched on her back watching the world from a new height, or pouncing through the long grass at her feet. Her mother, Sapphire, refers to the two youngsters as the ‘Troublesome Two’, as they are always leading each other into adventures and mischief. At night, Velvet curls up by Sapphire’s side, and little Todd settles on Velvet’s back, stopping himself falling off by leaning on the large mare’s side. Their father, Kage, remarks that night is the only time either are quiet. But he has readily accepted Todd as an adoptive son and Velvet’s ‘brother’, and he cares deeply for the little tyke.
