"I entered a few days ago, dared by friends to enter the abandoned library. I wasn't surprised when I entered, everything was covered with dust and plants grew around. I tried to leave to say there was nothing interesting here, the door was gone, I blinked and it was gone. That was the first strange thing to happen, others followed. I explored a lot and every room was a surprise, some massive and empty, some filled with beautiful sculptures. Then I discovered it wasn't all normal, doors turned out to be painted on, staircases moved, books erupted into swarms of strange glittering insects and gems shone on the ceilings or floated eerily. Then the noises began. I would be walking along and hear scratching and hissing, then I saw movements in the dark. I learnt that some creatures will attack, some stay away and some even will try to befriend you. What will you do when you enter my world? Will you survive or break-down? When you hear the noises grow close will you..."

As you explore you discover that nothing is as it seems and you realize you are not alone as you begin to hear noises. The library is full of strange creatures and all the rooms are different. You have to somehow survive in this mad world and find a way to escape

Below the Surface - Semi Literate to Literate - Please Join

We all carry these things inside us
That no one else can see.
They hold us down like anchors
They drown us out at sea.

We are not human. We are not fish. And we are most certaintly, definately, most infinetely, not half of anything. We are whole. We are real. We are Mer. Our kind does not sit on rocks jutting from the ocean, brushing our hair and waiting for love. We don't carry golden tridents and live in castles underwater. Those are human thoughts. They don't belong in Ingo. The Mer, we do sing, though. But our songs are ones of danger and delight. We sing to you human sailors and divers, calling you out to sea. We speak pure Mer, and pull you down with us. We call and call, but you can't leave the Air behind you. And then we let you drift away and join our graveyards full of bones. Our songs are irresistable, there's absolutely no escape. Our king has no coaches pulled by dolphins, does not have a flowing beard. He's old and scarred and full of hate, and wants the world for Mer. He sets strict boundries, and the punishments are severe. Those who don't obey our king join the humans in our graveyard. Ingo is a wild deep, no place for human souls. The currents push and pull and kill, the sharks and seals rip flesh from your bones. We are proud warriors and have families of our own. When humans try to disrupt our world, we leave no survivors and take no prisoners. We will fight until all of Ingo is ours, and Air and human alike can't touch us here.

Our Leader is Tyron. He is rarely seen, and lives far away in the great vast ocean, deep below us. He was chosen by the Prophets to lead us. He can survive depths even us regular Mer can't. Tyron is strong, and old. He has tan skin with scars filling every inch. His hair is black and shoulder length, his eyes are black pools of hate. You do not cross Tyron and expect to live. He rules with strict orders, but he keeps us safe and makes us warriors. There is only one rule that would cause him to rage if it was broken; do not fall in love with a human. Do not interact with them unless it is to drown them, he tells us. There will be no friendships between the Mer and the humans. And children between Mer and human is unspeakable. It's not that we hate the humans, atleast not most. We just don't like when the bring their Air thoughts and ideas into Ingo, and disrupt us far below the sea, where they do not belong.

But Tyron has been silent for a long time. The boundries between Air and Ingo have begun to break, and the rumours are true, there are hybrids. Mer and human children, daughters and sons of both Air and Ingo. They walk on land and dive deep with the Mer. Tyron will not be happy. When he returns from wherever he has gone, he will rage, and kill all those who have dared to oppose him.

Our kind is being divided, pushing away from each other. We have begun to weaken, and Ingo has been thrown into chaos. There are those who believe in the ways of Tyron, and who believe that humans are for drowning only, and keeping out of Ingo. They are the Defenders. And then there are the ones who want to break the bounds between Ingo and Air, and be allowed to befriend the humans. They call themselves the Rebels. Some of us do not know what to do. They do not care, and want this warring to end.

They want things back to the way it was, with everyone living below the surface in our seaweed forest or coral caves. With children growing up peacefully, and training to become warriors at fourteen. When there was only one enemy, and that was the humans who dared enter Ingo. Now instead, when a child turns fourteen, they must join the group they were born into. Mer are killing Mer, young children soldiers filling our graves. The ocean has been divided, with the Rebels having part of the territory, and the Defenders having the other. Ingo is in pain. These are human thoughts, human ways. We are falling apart, and the war has only just begun.

For as long as comic books have existed so have heroes and villains.
Enhanced by inhuman abilities, these are the supercharacters we've all grown up wanting to become.
But there are some in our city.
4 villains, wrecking the day.
4 heroes, saving it.

But it all seems too scripted, too perfect.
Not to us, "the mere mortals", to us it's like all comic books have come true.
But for the heroes and the villains, the guardians of the city, it's all getting a little too predictable.
Then something begins to change.
A fraction of a second before the trigger is pulled, the bullet disappears.
A minute before a forcefield is made, the missile changes course.
What's going on and who is behind it?

When two epic rivals join forces for the greater good, their world starts to unravel.
But in the comic books there's always a twist, and most of the time, it's not the one anybody is wishing for.

the b a s i c plot

So this is basically set in a big city, A metropolis if you will, and as in all comic books, there are the heroes and the villains, four of each, to be precise. These long established rivals have been at each other’s throats for years, at first it was out of genuine hatred, but recently it is just for the amusement of the public. The heroes and villains have been getting steadily sick of it, yes they save the day, but only because they're expected to. Half of them would rather be living their lives, their 'secret identity' and settling down. But they can't, they are the guardians of the city, it's their job, when someone is endowed with a superhuman ability, they can't just ignore it get on with life, they are either a hero or a villain.
But anyway, enough of their sad little history, now is time for the present. Recently both parties have been noticing something a little... off. When a young girl is about to be shot and the hero is about to dive in, the bullet dissappears. Just as a villain steps in to guard their hideout from the incoming missile, the missile itself changes course. What is going on and why? There's only one way to find out, and whether it be in secret, or in the eyes of the public, the two greatest rivals are going to have to join forces. Villains, meet the Heroes. You're going to have to become well acquainted if you're all going to survive this...

You open your eyes. Siting up you look around confusingly. You are surrounded by trees but.....What? It looks like your in some kind of border line. To your right the trees are bueatiful and are thriving with life but on your left the trees are dead and barren. You scratch your head and feel something...Furry? soft? Warm? You try to get a good look but you can't so you upsettinglt turn your head and see....A TAIL! Then you relieze that one your head was animal ears! You start to panic when you see a golden haired boy with white wolf ears and tail come towards you. " Are you alright?" He asks. You gaze into his friendly, almost glowing, gold eyes. "Y-yes." You stutter. " Good! Haha! You newbies are popping up here like crazy." He laughs. He then extends his hand towards you. You take it. "Come now, i'll tell you every thing when we are in my house.......

Well, i might as well explain this place.You are in a world called Anguestran and you are in the kingdom of Gretasu. We are somehow linked to your human world. In this world eveyone is part animal, we like to call our selves the Anipeomals, and eveyone has a power. The powers can be strong or weak, it doesn't matter. In this land we are peaceful people bla bla bla and the other side, the "Darkestor" or the dead old forest, is where all the bad stuff live bla bla bla. We have many gods like the basic water, wind, earth, fire bla bla bla." He stops and his face darkens a little. " Each god can form whats called a contract with a Anipeomals. It is forrbidden thou there are contractors out there. A contractor has the god sealed within them. If the person is strong OR the god is nice the person can keep control of its movement, body, ect. But if the god id bad or the person is weak then the god will have complete or minimum control over the person. Once the contract happens it can't be broken unless it's destroyed somehow, the person dies, or the person breaks free WHICH has never happened. Having a contract with a god is forbidden because of a contractor went wild with power, killing almost everyone. And a contract can only happen with one person per god, meaning person has contract with a god the god is sealed with that person so no more contracts till person dies or something happens..... Bla bla bla this and that. So there you have it, now tell Akeno, the golden haired lazy one, to get back here and take you away! I have things to do!"
