"I entered a few days ago, dared by friends to enter the abandoned library. I wasn't surprised when I entered, everything was covered with dust and plants grew around. I tried to leave to say there was nothing interesting here, the door was gone, I blinked and it was gone. That was the first strange thing to happen, others followed. I explored a lot and every room was a surprise, some massive and empty, some filled with beautiful sculptures. Then I discovered it wasn't all normal, doors turned out to be painted on, staircases moved, books erupted into swarms of strange glittering insects and gems shone on the ceilings or floated eerily. Then the noises began. I would be walking along and hear scratching and hissing, then I saw movements in the dark. I learnt that some creatures will attack, some stay away and some even will try to befriend you. What will you do when you enter my world? Will you survive or break-down? When you hear the noises grow close will you..."

For some reason you entered an abandoned library and now you can't leave as the door has disappeared. As you explore you discover that nothing is as it seems and you realize you are not alone as you begin to hear noises. The library is full of strange creatures and all the rooms are different. You have to somehow survive in this mad world and find a way to escape

When it comes to this you don't have to post massive amounts, just three lines and good GRAMMAR. Please do not post with really bad spelling and grammar, I will warn you if I think you aren't going enough but won't kick you straight away, I will give you a chance to improve
Mary Sues and Gary Sues
No-one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, not everyone is beautiful and not everyone is very nice and never looses their temper. Please, remember these are normal teenagers. Don't make them amazing martial artists who kill anything that attacks them, if you do I will kick you
Posting too much
Please don't post a few pages when only a few people are on. You may do a page, two pages even, but not too much more than that as it gets annoying for other people if they can't keep up. I won't strike r tell you off really for this, just ask you to stop. If you see someone rushing ahead you can ask them politely to wait for other people
Romance
I don't care if your characters are straight, gay, bi or anything, that's fine. Please make your character meet someone before falling in love and don't fully center the rp around romance, it's supposed to have a bit of romance, a bit of adventure and a chance for people to be imaginative. Also, your characters can't love each other
Involve Everyone
If you see someone has no-one to rp with, please involve them or make their character meet your's or something like that, it is very annoying when you can't get into an rp as there is no-one to rp with. If you can't see anyone to rp with, just ask if anyone has a free character
Recaps
If someone asks for a recap give them one unless they posted on the last page or someone has given a recap recently. The first post after someone asks for a recap should be one unless you post after them and also need a recap

More information
The library is full of rooms that can contain anything that you want except modern things like computers. Just go wild and be creative! Not every room should be the same, some could have glass floors, some could be colourful but then fade into white the further you walk into them... just be imaginative. Also, because of the amount of rooms, you can find basically anything like knives and rope but nothing like guns or ipods or phones.

Mantis Woman
Size-3 feet tall
Attitude to humans-Hostile
Tameable?- No
Description- The mantis woman seems to have the body of a beautiful woman at first but seem in the light is not like a woman. Their arms are out of proportion and down to their knees, ending with two praying mantis claws that are dark blue. The rest of the body is covered in light grey fur and the eyes are completely black with no white at all.
They are vicious creatures with amazing hearing, average smell and bad sight. Once they see someone, they will chase and normally the way to get away is to go through a door and lock it behind you. They will then tap on the door trying to get through for a while until they get bored. Another sound they make is a gurgling.

Gem Dragons
Size-They range from 1 foot to 2 feet
Attitude to humans-Ignore anyone till they come close to the dragons hive

How to Tame-To tame them you will first need to find them which is very hard, then you will need to give one a jewel which matches the one on their forehead
Description- Gem dragons look as if they are made of precious stones and are see-through. On their foreheads they will have a shining jewel and stops shining when they die. Even though they are small, they have very sharp teeth of an obsidian-like substance and claws of the same material.
They live in a beehive like thing made out of jewels and are very rare to find. If you find them, it is best to stay away and if you want to tame one lure it away with a gem. When angered, all the dragons swarm together and, while emitting a very high pitched sound, attack. They all make a different high pitched sound though so they result is a painful clashing high note

Shadow Children

Description-The shadow children and most often found in dark corners, seeming to be made of shadows and quite see-through. Nothing about them is solid except, every now and then, there will be a flash where a hand or foot or ear appears. The one part of their body that does show is their eyes, which are bright and shiny like jewels.
When they see a human, they will try to play with them but not many people understand this as they are very strange. They make a child's laughing sound that doesn't appear to be coming from them, it is echoing and distant

Book Wasp
Size- The size of a hornet
Attitude to humans-Only attack if attacked, usually keep to themselves
Tameable?-No
Description-These creatures look like wasps but in the light they sparkle and shine, their wings larger than a normal wasps. A swarm of these wasps will find a book and then will hollow it out before making a hive inside it. If the book is picked up all the wasps will swarm out of it, usually causing it to break. This is what creates the illusion of books exploding into insects.

Attitude to humans-This depends, some packs are friendly and some are hostile, some are brave and some are not

How to Tame- If one takes a liking to you you can calm it by humming to it and then feeding it food till it falls asleep, when it awakes it will be tame
Description-These creatures have the body crossed between that of a cat and Monkey with the hands and arms of monkeys but main body of a cat. One major difference is they have two front legs, one pair have blunt claws the other pair have long and sharp claws. The fur can be brown, cream, gold, black, white or a mixture. The face has large cat-eyes of any bright colour, large tufted ears, the rest of the face is monkey-ish and the mouth has two large canines with grinding teeth at the back.
They hunt and live in packs, communicating with many sounds; whistles, hums, clicks and 'chaaks'. They are omnivores and eat most things, each seems to favour a different food and have a different personality.

Wood Geckos

How to Tame-Stay still near some and they will come close to you. Then hold out food and one will eat it. Feed this one more food and it will gradually come to be tame
Description-Wood geckos are different shades of brown, often with wood grains on them. The shade depends on where they live in the library. They scurry around eating insects and running when they see sudden movement or large creatures. They aren't that clever and if something doesn't move for a long time they will approach it

Knife Bats
Size- Half a foot to 2 feet long
Attitude to humans-Usually hostile
Tameable?- No
Description- Knife Bats have silver colored bodys and that are in the shapes of bats, they have small but deadly sharp knives for teeth and claws, they are usally hostile towards humans, or any living thing that is stupid enough to get in the way, they have small, blue, glowing eyes.
They live in colonies ranging from 5 bats to up to 20 and when they are not hunting they are usually hanging, alert, upside down in a dark corner, even when asleep they are alert and will wake at the slightest sound.

Flame Eagle
Size-120 cm in length and a wing span of 2.5 metres
Tameable?- Yes
How to tame- First you have to find one, which is very hard, and then somehow get a live piece of meat to it, anything would do as long as it is bigger or the size of a gecko. Then, if the Flame Eagle thinks you are worthy, it will cook the meat with it's hot breath and drop a piece in front of you. If you eat the meat it will bond with you, if you refuse to eat it the eagle may grow angry
Description- Just larger than a golden eagle, these birds are a reddish-brown with a white strip on the top of their head. Their beak is large, dangerous and sharp, their talons are too. One very strange thing about them is that their breath is firey hot. They don't actually breath fire but their breath is hot enough to cook meat.
When they make a nest they will take up a whole room, using wood and material to create a huge nest in the middle. If someone enters the room, they won't attack immediately but will approach the intruders with their wings spread, a person should then spread their arms like wings and back away unless they want to tame it and then they must throw the food to the eagle.

Horned Canines
Size-This depends, they can be the size of a lurcher to the size of a large alsation

How to Tame-They like human company so will stay around humans, to tame one ou must just gain it's trust by feeding it and when it grows braver stroking it
Description-These creatures have the body of a lean dog, with short of medium length smooth fur of any dark colour. On their head they have two horns that go backwards, up to two feet long, and two short ones just behind their eyebrows that a half a foot long and sharp. Any patterns that dogs have the horned canines can have, but always the secondary colour will be light and the main colour dark.
They go around in ones or twos; hunting =, playing and sleeping together. When they mate, they will drag soft materials into a corner and then, when the pups are old enough, they will begin to travel round again. When tamed they are very loyal but can be quite rough when playing

For her age, Teala is average height, lean and not with too much upper-body strength, most of her strength is in running and agility as she has long legs. Her skin is lightly tanned with a few moles on her arms and legs. All though she is fifteen, she had basically no curves and still has a figure most people lose when they get past 11 or 12.
Her hair is cut short like a boys, most often messy as she takes no care in it except making sure that it isn't covered in twigs, and a dark blonde, naturely streaked with lighter blonde. Her eyes are a very dark brown, almost black, and surrounded by short eyelashes though not unfriendly. They are quite warm though this gives the wrong impression as Sammi is not very friendly. Her face, on the whole, isn't that special. She isn't beautiful but also not ugly. Her face is an oval with high-ish cheek bones and a scar on her right cheek where a mantis woman got her

Teala is someone who wants to make the most of life, she will never stop to just sit down and will always be longing for adventure or to explore. She isn't anti-social but will excuse herself if she finds a conversation boring or a person boring, she will however not stop them going with her. One thing Teala hates is when someone whines on and on or complains but does nothing to solve what is annoying them. Teala will sometimes be a bit boastful even if she doesn't mean it, but also is a laugh, joking around a lot and making friends easily.

Piper is short for his age with pale skin. His build is well built but not that stocky, in between lean and stocky. His is quite muscled all over with long fingers with broken nails. His eyes are a reddish brown, matching with his reddish brown hair, his mother says autumn gave him his coloring, his pale skin from the frost and his hair and eyes from the falling leaves.
His face is rather angular as his eyes are quite sharp, his chin is thin and he has high cheekbones, giving him and altogether sharp appearance. He has a number of freckles across his cheeks and his hair is long, normally tied back. When he moves he move very purposely, never just wandering randomly around.

Piper is, normally, very sociable and fun, loving to make jokes and hang around with friends. When meeting strangers he is normally very confident unless it is a good-looking boy around his age, and then he may be a bit awkward. When it comes to love, he blushes easily and isn't good at talking about stuff like it, though if he does like someone it will be obvious by his body language.
Even though he means well, Piper can often say things without thinking and end up hurting peoples feelings accidentally. If Piper deosn't like someone then he won't just keep it to himself, he will go and bluntly tell the person that he doesn't like them, he feels they should at least know. Challenged or dared, Piper will always agree unless it endangers other people or will injure himself seriously.
