Just wondering, how will the breeding be done? Will the babie(s) be put up for adoption, or will they be optionally kept by the owner of the JBD?

JBDs will mate for life, so once you choose your JBD's mate, you can't change it. Of course, you and the other JBD's owner have to agree, unless you own 2 JBDs(a male and a female, of course xD ) and you want to breed them. A female JBD will lay a single egg, sometimes two. You can choose whether you want to keep the baby or give it for adoption.

I think the lineart will be colored by an artist or by myself. I'm not completely sure about that yet.

Also, I think I'll have to make a completely new list for all the second gen. JBDs

yeah, that's fine. But it still depends on what you are asked for in the contest ^^

Question - Will there be a breeding season were you have a limited amount of time to breed your JBDs? (Say, three months, in summer.) And would the owners be able to breed them again, next breeding season? And would you be able to color the baby(s) in the child lines?
