There were many who considered themselves to be leaders that had approached Goelaef. In one case, he had even been confronted in a display of maniacal dominance and lust for power, which had indeed amused the golden Ahz greatly. However, there was one particular Ahzenai among those wooing that displayed the qualities of patience and level-headedness. One that could carry themselves both with an air of self-confidence as well as with a willingness to wait. This one also displayed a great sense of wisdom, a quality that Goelaef valued greatly in a leader. They needed a little push in terms of ambition, but Goelaef could certainly handle strengthening that quality within them.

A twitch of his tail was the only movement that displayed that he had made his decision. The crowd grew silent as he slowly drew himself up and paced, golden paws padding gently against the stone beneath them, to sit at Camorra's side. "I hope," he rumbled, his eyes glittering, "That you can visualize how far you'll go as well as I can."

I loved the personalities of the characters that wooed Goelaef. Endless, Camorra was perhaps the calmest of all the characters that offered woos. Her character was the most balanced and you did a wonderful job of not immediately leaping into an assumed role of leader. This gave Camorra potential to lead, which made her character unique among the woos of kings and queens, emperors and empresses!

You guys did a really great job of working with a sort of hidden (or maybe not so hidden?) side of your Ahz that contained the capacity to command. All of these woos were brilliantly written and very, very interesting to read. I loved Shiko Hayashi's and Burn's woos in particular; Shiko's was a totally unexpected and incredibly fun woo, while the characters in Burn's were so full of depth and individuality. My objective with Goelaef was to allow characters to assert themselves as equal to an Ahzenai. I know that there is usually some deference to the Ahzenai on the part of the character (after all, what wooer would want to go and bash their beloved over the head? Now THAT would be a really interesting, if somewhat impossible woo B:<). My thanks to everyone that participated and I hope I'll get the chance to write for more Ahzenai soon!
